- So.. we stayed here last year at start of November and it was incredible. We decided it was so good we thought we have to go again.. we landed in male on the 25th November and we was here for 10 nights (ended up being 11 nights as virgin cancelled our flight home…) which we didn’t mind at all staying in this amazing place. We was greeted by the welcome back sign by mechelle (the most amazing host). We checked in and went to ylang ylang for lunch and we were greeted with more welcome back signs this time on the table. The staff who was there from last year greeted us as they all remembered us which was so lovely and welcoming! I wanted to propose to my partner and I let mechelle know and she was so excited and planned everything for me, which was a weight of my shoulders! She sorted out the saxophone player, got a lot of staff involved, sorted a red heart out on the jett, I also brought some photos of me and my partner and she got the house keeping team to put them up and decorate our room while we was at dinner!. She also organised some of my girlfriend’s favourite white roses to be delivered and the staff gave them to her after she said yes. The whole night was just absolutely perfect and mechelle done the most amazing job in organising it all and I cant thank her enough for making the moment so special and one neither of us will ever forget. The next day at breakfast we had our table decorated with congratulations which I wasn’t expecting at all and was so heart warming as you could feel how happy they were for us and they made it so personal and beautiful. The rest of the stay the staff treated us like kings and queens, they remembered our room number at dinner, always remembered our drink order and always made the time to stop and talk to us every day. Every single member of staff would say hello, good morning or good evening and always had the most welcoming kind smile on their faces. They made us feel like part of the family. They say that the staff make the holiday which I never understood before until I came here and was treated as incredible as we were. We feel so lucky to have had this experience and we will remember this for the rest of our lives. We will never forget the amazing staff that made this holiday what it was and there is not enough words to explain how thankful we are to them all for creating such wonderful memories. Cue the wedding at this special place and for mechelle to organise it! We also just want to give a special thanks to a few members of staff who went above and beyond. Thank you too Mechelle, Jenny, Elin, Sabna, Nabeel. Love to everyone there and we will see you again soon! ❤️
@Dpw5868Reviewed December 2024 - We’ve just got back from making the most magical memories at Oblu Select Lobigili in the Maldives. We stayed in a water villa on the exclusive adults only side of the island and have been blown away by the resort, accomodation, activities, service, food and breathtaking scenery. We stayed for the last week of November/beginning of December so had a couple of windy/stormy weather days but that didn’t stop us enjoying the warm weather, most days in the high 20’s. There are simply far too many amazing experiences & people to list them all on here, as everyday brought another memorable moment, but the absolute highlight has to be the team that looks after you at every step of the way from the airport transfer team, chefs & waitresses at the restaurants Ylang & Blu (simply one of the most mesmerising restaurants under the sea), to the bar staff, water sports crew, Eleni spa team and the special room attendants and island hosts, ours been Astrid and the wonderful Patrice, they just go above and beyond at every step, and on each and every day. So thank you to the whole team at Oblu Select Lobigili for making our birthday holiday celebration one to remember, we would seriously consider coming back again to make more magnificent memories in the Maldives ❤️

@477jennibReviewed December 2024 - We spent the last week of November 2024 there. It was like paradise. Esther took care of us and she was really nice. Maldivian and Indian food isn't for us but the restaurants have too many choices. All the food was delicious; soups, suchies, pizzas, Mediterranean food. Also the cleaning was the best, but they also think about the environment, for example the straws were metal. I think this place has at least 9.8 points. I just think bicycles would be nice. Although all the staff were so nice, especially thanks to Divya, Citra and Haydie. I hope we can see you again!
@violetimonaReviewed November 2024 - Greeted at airport and shown to transfer boat in quick time. The journey was thrilling and it was a great way to arrive. We were greeted warmly by our host Patrice and then given a guided tour. We were impressed she had taken care of any bookings that we’d missed to arrange ourselves. We never had a bad meal during our stay and were staggered by the high quality and choices on offer. Our excursions were fabulous, highly recommend the swim with sharks! Our bed was super comfy and have to send a huge thanks to the staff member who kept our room super clean & tidy. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating but the spa staff (Cheng & her colleague) were just exceptional that we had to re-book with them. Many thanks for a wonderful & memorable stay.
