After traveling through Sabah we used this hotel for a relaxed end. We enjoyed it very much. We had a nice room. The swimming pool was clean and nice. The restaurant had reasonable to good food (also western food). The beach was peaceful.
The city of KK is a half hour drive and good for eating and shopping (Imago mall is nice).
So we enjoyed the stay and the staff was friendly and helpful.

An excellent value for money resort where the welcome was warm and the service very good. The rooms we had were not the best on offer but worked very well for us. And as for the location - some distance from Kota Kinabalu but absolutely beautiful.
We're seriously considering a return visit in 2019, and probably bringing a few more friends this time.
I will not repeat what others said, neither the negative nor the positive. It indeed looks the resort is very much more pleasant to group activities such as company retreats than say a romantic or family holiday.
We were there on a company retreat, and had a very good time. The highlight of our trip, though, was being driven around town by Charles. Yes, it is a service we paid for, but this man could have just driven. No: he was the most charming, patient and funny driver a group of colleagues could have expected to have encountered, cracking jokes with us after our night out drinking, making stops along the way for us to resupply at the 7/11, telling us stories and advice, just like a true member of our group, all while being very careful and safe on the road.
If you speak with Charles, if you really mean to communicate, he will welcome you with open arms, and help you with details that make a difference, such as proposing late checkouts with no extra cost if your plane is late and don't know what else to do.

Situated about 26km from the city of Kota Kinabalu, I would say that this resort is a good place for a quick family weekend gateway for those who are staying in Kota Kinabalu. From checking in to checking out, the service was good. Staffs were friendly. The rooms were pleasant, the property compound is beautiful, needless to say the beach. Overall, a nice relaxing time we had here.
