The food was very good and so was the service. The place provides an excellent value for money. Definitely worth visiting if in Maresme or even for a day visit from Barcelona.

The winery Alto Allela recommended the restaurant and it was perfect. We took some food suggestions from the staff. Starter was a combination of avocado, mushroom, smoked eel. Exquisite combination and assembly.
The suggestion for main was a rice dish with squid and a cut of tasty fatty local pork. The combination was amazing.
The chef is someone who clearly knows what they are doing and is passionate and takes time on every dish.
Desert was Catalan cream, but light and delicate. The chocolate desert was incredibly rich, for chocolate lovers, best for sharing.
Great combination day of Alta Allela for cava and els garrofers for lunch. love it

We were exploring Alella (hotel in Barcelona) and got a tip from a local that this was a great restaurant, so why not. We have been traveling throughout Spain for the last 10 days and the food was awesome... the best we have had so far. We loved it so much, we returned two days later. We had appetizers, entrees, dessert and coffee both visits and everything we ordered was fabulous, plus the service and the atmosphere was outstanding. It was so good, we asked to take a picture of the chef and his wife and thanked them both. Ken and Ann from Mansfield, Texas, USA
