Melia Campione restaurant- Dolce Vita. Great name but that's as far as it goes. All frills and no knickers - translated as All style and no substance I think is a fair description.
I've read some of the earlier reviews about poor and inattentive staff but personally I found them all ( and that included Lunch and Dinner) to be very professional and passionate about their jobs. No complaints at all.
As far as the food goes, I thought it was expensive for what it was!! I had a Tuna starter, Sea Bass for main course, 2 glasses of Rose and a glass of water- €70!! ( one person).
Starter was pretty looking but tuna I thought was over cooked and main course was very poor. Two very small pieces of sea bass rolled together with a couple of sliced fried potatoes and that was it!!
When writing these reviews I always like to think I can give value to both consumer and restaurant alike and maybe in this case, the review is more directed at the restaurant for a need to improve perceived value in whatever format that might be judged!
Breakfast was small but good and no problems at all. Once again staff were very friendly.
