Fantastic place to stay if comfort and mod cons are not a necessity. Good home cooking directed by wife, exceptional hospitality offered by husband and polite, efficient service executed by the children. You've also got granny on the scenes making sure all runs smoothly. Good location situated 5 minutes from the beach, a 10 minute bus ride to the old town, 20 minute stroll to a huge shopping centre. Banks and all other amenities on your doorstep. Do not go in August. This applies to Rimini in general.

Would recommend to anyone, in fact I have. I have recommended this wonderful no frills hotel to many, couples, families, people on business, young, old and all have been happy. It is the service that makes the difference. Maurizio, Anna, kids and granny go out of their way to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. The food is typical local cuisine and most of the produce used is home grown. Anna works miracles in the kitchen preparing great meals combining quality with quantity. You will never leave the table hungry I promise. Nothing is too much trouble for Maurizio. Always happy and accommodating, a true professional.
The Moby Dick does not do chic nor designer. If that is what you are looking for then forget it. 800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets or Hungarian down quilts will not be provided. The rooms are all on suite, spacious and clean but lack finesse, what more can I say.
Good location as it is 250 meters from the beach, half an hour walk to the old town, 5 minute drive from the airport. We always borrow a push bike from the hotel to get around and believe it to be the only way to travel.
The main man, Maurizio, speaks English well but not fluent. Every effort will be made by him to understand and converse and if you do the same, your garanteed a geat time. Mention my name, Michael and he'll literaly bend over backwards to please. We go back a long time in which I have seen him evolve from a teenage disco dancing barman into a true professional Hotelier. Well done Maurizio
