The museum is in a lovely green park with a botanical garden. The cafe has excellent coffee. The museum tells about the formation of volcanos in the area. A short video is shown in the language of your choice, and at the end there is a surprise simulated earthquake which kids would love.

Housed in a renovated old building in the middle of a small park below a Tourist Information Centre. Informative displays on volcanism and earthquakes in general along with local volcanic history and details on the many sites in the area. Well worth and hour or so.
