I've already done a review of Camp Baboon which is connected to Wild Place and on TripAdvisor for you to look at, it's a great place for kids, loads to do, animals to see and educational as well, go there, do it and embrace it, it's a charity and they are trying to make a difference for the future of us all.

This is a lovely place to visit, the animals have enclosures close to being in the wild and plenty of space. Entry fees are very reasonable and if you plan to keep going and do a year pass then very cheap. Lots of wooded walks and picnic areas, plenty to keep children interested. Information about the preservation of the protection and conservation of different animals. Lovely gardens, cafe and shop. Good for all ages and not too big for the smaller children to walk about. Play areas and a bare foot walk. Lemur walk means they can be right next to you.

Thank you for your lovely 5* review of Wild Place. You're right, you only need to visit 3 times within a year for the Annual Pass to be worthwhile! I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and liked everything we have to offer at Wild Place. If you come back next year we will be opening Bear Wood in the summer, which will house bears, wolverine and lynx, which will join our wolves, in a brand new exhibit! We hope to see you soon!

We have had an annual pass for 2 years and continue to be impressed with the new developments at Wild Place.

One of the luxuries of having a pass is the ability to be selective about what you see each time - we don’t attempt to see everything!!

On today’s trip we decided to try out the swing!! Our son is 9 and has learning difficulties. He’s also epileptic. He decided he wanted to go on it with me so of course I had to say yes!!

We had a brilliant experience. We were wonderfully looked after by everyone but in particular by Annie who helped us in and out of the swing itself. She was very kind, and clear and our son listened to her well. It was the most amazing experience and we giggled and then screamed all the way down. “Again, again, again.” Was all I heard from my son.

Smashing fun.

Thank you for your great 5* review! I'm glad you enjoyed the swing - it's a lot of fun so I am not surprised that you and your son had such a good experience! The Leap of Faith team are great with all ages and abilities and can make everyone feel at ease. I will pass on your lovely words to Annie and the Leap of Faith manager. We look forward to seeing you again soon, and next year we aim to expand significantly with the addition of Bear Wood which will house bears, wolves, lynx and wolverine!

Certainly a great place to take young children. Animals in far nicer settings than a zoo and you are able to get up really cose - all safety glass etc between you and them of course. Good assortment of animals and most appeal to the small children.
Plenty of open space and activities to prevent any boredom as well.
Meadow for picnics or, as with us today as it was quite wet, plenty of tables and seating and plenty of toilets as well.
Nice little restaurant although perhaps a bit expensive if you have a family. Be like us and take your own picnic.
Prices a little expensive but a years membership works out quite well if you go often enough.
Will be back however, and would highly recommend.

Thank you for your lovely 5* review of Wild Place! I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the various animals we have on site, we are expanding all the time, and next year we will be opening our Bear Wood exhibit, which will house bears, wolves, lynx and wolverine, which will be a massive addition to Wild Place. On a nice day, Tower Meadow is perfect for picnics, and we also have various picnic benches spread out across the site, giving plenty of options for everyone! We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Thank you for your great 5* review! I'm glad you enjoyed your giraffe experience, it's such a good opportunity to get so close to such amazing animals! Yes, our site is quite rustic and can get muddy in the winter, but sensible footwear means you can enjoy every aspect of the park. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
