We had heard of Shigar Fort and how beautiful it is. But one has to see it to realize the beauty of the place. One is in the midst of history and lo(i)ving it. One needs to live in the rooms in the fort to experience the place.

Overall my stay was wonderful. Its one of the best tourist destinations and sarena hotel and its services are a cherry on the top. The hotel staff was welcoming and humble along with the manager mr karim who is a very nice person and would listen to us so calmly and always have positive responses. 100/100!

I would like to extend my thanks to the staff and team in there. They really made our trip such a blissful one. We a family of two adults with two kids found it to be very friendly place. Their orchard is simply wonderful. The feeling of exclusivity while staying in their rooms cannot be described. We simply cherished and felt previlaged to stay their, especially considering the historical importance of that place. A remarkable idea to conserve the place as well as bring it for good of people.

Staying at Shigar Fort is an exceptional experience and I would say a privilege. The heritage site is beautifully restored retaining its original character, one gets a feeling of traveling back in time and to another world, yet the comfort is amazing. It is by far the best value for money compared to all the places I have ever stayed in. And the staff is amazingly friendly and gentle, perfect for the place like this.

The Shigar Fort is a perfect rehabilitation of the original structure. The Aga Khan Foundation did an excellent job! The rooms are almost exactly like the original...except they have running water, electricity and heat! You can walk around the grounds, have tea in the garden, watch the sun go down,..or come up over the surrounding mountains. Also near to many sites to visit
Room tip: Be sure to stay in the Royal Suite!

Me and my wife travel to Sakardu and stay there this is really one of the best hotel in the town with old Traditions we really enjoyed our stay there. We wish to come again and stay in the same hotels.
The staff is really cooperative and too much good. Highly recommended.
