We stayed here in winter in a tent which had a very effective heater and warmed the place up in no time. The main lodge and terrace are pretty and there are lots of birds including iridescent sunbirds round the flowering bushes. There was a blazing fire at night in the lodge but a bit of a pecking order: the more you spent on accommodation the nearer you were to the fire, so being in a tent we were seated by the windows where it was rather cold. The food was warm and good, however.
The pool looked lovely and had it been summer we would have swum.
Best of all were the gorgeous grounds. We spent a full day doing the longest walk offered and walked up to the roof of the world where we had, it seemed, views of all of Swaziland. We saw a lot of beautiful birds. Be warned: it's very steep so if you're not fit, don't do it.
The staff were friendly and the owner was helpful and took the trouble to chat to everyone who was staying.
I'd come back here but in the summer so I could really enjoy the grounds and swim in the pool.
