Looking at other very positive reviews of this restaurant, it is surprising to have had such a poor meal here. I ate lunch here as part of a large tour group and had a pre-set fixed menu, so I'm guessing that it was the menu choices which caused the problem. The starter was a largely tasteless pumpkin gnocchi. For main course, we got two slightly undercooked slices of pork sausage with mashed potato - again, there was little flavour. The dessert was a slice of cake moistened with a liqueur, but which was still somehow dry. The service was enthusiastic and the ambience is good. I'm inclined to think this was a one off ill-chosen menu. I'm reluctant to criticise a restaurant, which supports local artists and works with a local project for people with learning difficulties. Just one of those bad luck dining days.
