We called in here for lunch on our second of four days walking the Arran Coastal Way. Very smart interior and efficient staff. They serve an interesting variant on Cullen Skink without cream and with Turkish flatbread.
Well worth the slight diversion (uphill) off the road.

Stopped off on our trip around the island and as we have been here many times before we were pleasantly surprised that the standard of food was still extremely high and very tasty. We has a fairly light lunch with Cullen Skink and a light salad which was very tasty and very well presented. This is a lovely place to come and eat and the range of food is very comprehensive and caters very well for gluten free and vegetarian eaters. Well worth stopping for a lovely eating experience.

This is not the easiest place to find but it is well worth making the effort. We had lunch here twice during our stay and the food and service were excellent. They do speciality teas and my husband was so impressed he even bought a teapot with combined strainer and 3different types of loose tea. There is an excellent and safe outdoor play area for kids and a lovely craft shop too.

Although off the main road we popped in here as trip advisor comments were so good. In practice the cafe totally lived up to the grades and we had the pides (Turkish pizza) and cakes and both could not have been better. The service was very good and the facilities and play area for children was outstanding.
