The recepcion was great, the bedroom was really nice, comfortable bed, bathroom organized. Breakfast ok. But no WiFi service. It appears but never works. We asked the reception to make it work, the lady said she would re-iniciate the WiFi, but it never worked.

Picked this place to be convenient for the airport having travelled up from Amalfi.
Airport taxis will charge you double to get here (outside Naples city limits).
Pool closed in August, wifi temperamental at best (slow/poor connectivity), reception friendly, booked a room for 4, but 2 beds were camp-beds despite prior assurances.
But worst of all was the mouldy dripping ceiling and shower - gross!

This place was not nice. The room was so hot and they have no air conditioning since its April, so i opened the window and had to listen to the neighbors across the street lighting off fireworks day and night. And they had a dog that barked non stop all day, and i mean non stop, every few seconds the dog would bark then the rooster would crow. It was a sleeping nightmare. There was mold in the shower, and the floors were dirty with someone elses hair. Also, there were personal lubricants in the bathroom is you know what i mean, that tells you a lot about a place. The gym was also closed which is the entire reason i booked this place, no where on its website does it say that the gym is closed on sundays.

This hotel, sitting behind an electric fence, is situated between a mausoleum, some car repair shops and an abandoned housing development. From the second floor you can see a swimming pool full of dark-brown water in which rubbish bags are floating. The nearest restaurant is a half-kilometer away down badly-lit streets.

Though the hotel is advertised as having a pool - the main reason we decided to choose it - it does not have one. Rather, the gym next door does, and you have to pay 6 euros per person to use it.

When we stayed (April), the entire hotel's air conditioning was off for the season. The thermostat in our room was showing 30 degrees when we arrived and it felt so hot that it was not possible to remain there, let alone sleep there. We were advised that no other room would be any cooler, and that the only way to adjust the temperature was keep the window open all night. This we did, and the sound of traffic going by and roosters crowing - plus worrying about the security of keeping the window open - meant we got next to no sleep.

Perhaps worst of all, this was advertised on Hotels.com as being a fully-refundable reservation. However, when we received confirmation of the reservation, the wording had changed and it turned out to be non-refundable. We would certainly have changed hotels under the terms we originally agreed. This is not acceptable and represents misleading advertising. Shame on you, hotels.com.

On the plus side, the lady at the front desk, though unable to help us, was professional and friendly. The room is nicely decorated. There is free, if sporadic, wifi. But overall, based on our experience, I would not recommend this hotel for families, tourists, or anyone else for that matter.
