With my wife, we've been there for 4 nights, in a quiet and nice place not too far away from Firenze. Very good hospitality and communication. The family was great and we felt appreciated as guests. Extraordinary views from this place, located on one of many many hills in the region. Thank you Nico and the Family ! See you next time !

Room Tip: Front rooms are with a better view of the landscape

For my 30th birthday I wanted to stay somewhere different to the standard summer beach holiday. I came across this hotel on a special offer by chance and fell in love with the description.
The room was the cheapest and was lovely - if you like rustic you will love the place. The restaurant serves good food and with a small menu, it's all cooked fresh.
The breakfast is typical continental - it's very nice but best of all the cappuccinos were freshly made by the staff.
The staff themselves were wonderful. Speaking fluent English, they will guide you on local things to do if you need their assistance. On our last day, we had to leave early before breakfast opened (8am) so they opened up early especially so that we could have something to eat before our drive back to Pisa airport. You don't get that everywhere! They are so friendly and really give the place that family feel.
Locally there isn't much to do so hire a car and explore the Chianti region. We loved Greve - you can wine taste at your own leisure and expense (no need for a fancy tour). The place was called Enoteca Falorni.
Overall a wonderful relaxing trip - I would love to go back over the summer.
Just a tip if your visiting September onwards - the days are warm but evening is cold. I was the only person to wear a skirt in the daytime! Everyone else had big coats and scarfs, but it really isn't that cold.

Small friendly family run hotel that takes care of all your comfort needs.
Absolutely no complaints regarding price & quality.
The restaurant food is quite good & serve a good local red wine.
The breakfast included was more than satisfactory.
Highly recommend!!

Will definitely be re booking again soon.

We spent two lovely nights here during our tour of Italy. The hotel is is composed of several different buildings and is located in Tuscany, a very hilly and beautiful region.

Our room was the only sleeping room on the second floor of the main building which also houses the dining room and kitchen. It had cool tile floors and dark woods- greatly appreciated in the middle of July! We were very comfortable there.

The food was excellent! We even were treated to a chef's demonstration of the art of creating pasta and basil pesto.

The hotel had appetizers waiting for its guests each afternoon when we returned from touring. That gesture, a friendly staff, and a cool swimming pool made this one of our favorite hotels on our 3-week trip.

The Ritz it isn't. That said, you will need to look long and hard to find a more pleasant place to stay. My wife and I stayed for 11 days in September. The Service offered by this family run Hotel is second to none. nothing is too much trouble. The Restaurant is delightful and most nights we were able to sit outside under the arches. The menu is small but delightful. I especially liked the Chicken strips with sun dried tomatoes. We did find that after several days we needed to branch out into the local area to eat as the choices on offer were a little limited. Our room was a bit basic and was situated directly off the restaurant but the beds which had been pushed together to form a decent sized double were comfortable and the linen was of good quality. There was limited natural light from the small window and the electric lighting was rather harsh with all lights operated by the same switches so no variation was possible. Also there was no mirror in the bedroom so we had to make do with those in the bathroom. I am sure there are better rooms available at the hotel and the shortcomings listed did not prevent us enjoying our stay. As other contributors have said there is the Mall Outlet selling designer clothes at big discounts a few minutes drive away. This is a major draw to the area. Incisa is quiet little town and it contrasts nicely with the hustle and bustle of Florence which is just about 40 minutes away by train from the local station. There are a couple of nice restaurants in the town and a cafe and a restaurant are within walking distance from the Hotel. Please see separate reviews for these.

Room Tip: Try not to stay in room 00. unless you enjoy the sound of the restaurant.
