We came back to Koh Samui because we love the relaxing atmoshere combined with access to good restaurants and nightife. We also came back to Chaweng Regent because last time it was so relaxing, service was good and food great. What a mistake. We paid top dollar because it was peak , the service was dreadful; got orders wrong despite pointing to pictures on menu. The gym ran out of water for two days and staff just shrugged their shoulders. The food was very average at breakfast and at buffet. We booked Spa Villa and that was waste of extra money. Overall very disappointing.

Room tip: Stay away from pool area

As customer service remains our top priority, feedback such as yours enables us to improve our service, facilities and therefore we are very grateful to you for bringing the issue to our attention.

My friend and I booked a premier room at this resort after traveling through Cambodia and Vietnam for a few weeks. We loved it! The room was remodeled and wonderful, the beach is great, and the breakfast buffet is amazing. The location is good too, quiet, but a stone's throw from all the Chaweng action. Drinks are a tad overpriced, but they have 2 for 1 happy hours a few times a day. Would recommend!

For all of the haters out there of this resort, what planet are you from. This resort is amazing, from the time we check in until the time we left we felt special here. We stayed in a Duluxe Regency room on the second floor room 234 just back from the swim up bar pool so as we could not hear the noise from the pool. The rooms are of a good size with big big bed and good size bathroom.We didn't spend alot of time in our room mostly down at the pool or shopping. The location is perfect location in Chaweng for all you need to do from shopping,bars,restaurants or catching a show. The staff are very polite and willing to help in anyway special mention to the team at the swim up bar Byan and M they do the best cocktails my favorite been Coconut Tree. We would also like to thank them for our gift and flower arrangement for our wedding anniversary it was a lovely touch.Overall we would definitely be back and would recommend to anyone this resort. We had many family and friends come and stay at Chewang Regent when we went to Koh Samui to get married. The staff could not have been more helpful, from front desk staff who actually arranged our guests rooms so that families could be near each other, to the bar man at the pool bar who always made sure we got plenty of snacks and free bread sticks with our drinks, the rooms were immaculately cleaned, and the restaurant service was excellent. Loved that there are 2 pools, and although the beachfront pool prob has the best view and is a lovely lagoon shape, we thoroughly enjoyed the inner pool, with step bridge, and pool bar, and tropical surroundings. Chewang beach is the main beach and is surrounding by garish shops, bars, and the streetscape could hardly be called beautiful, but this is the case for all resorts located at Chewang, at least the Chewang Regent is an oasis in this otherwise chaotic place. However Chewang is an experience . The front of the Chewang Regent has a lagoon type of beach suitable for swimming and safe for kids. If you are staying at Chewang then this is one of the best resorts you could choose. Our family stayed in different types of rooms and all were happy with them. We were upstairs with a balcony overlooking the inner pool, turn down service. highly recommended.

Room tip: Proximity to the inner pool is convenient for quick dips

We are here on holiday for several years. The hotel was poor quality. Breakfast is always the same, the air is bad, the dirty bath! Shake was rotten! big disappointment!
The staff not nice. The air conditioning does not work!
