Coming from North America, it is always wise to recalibrate expectations in rural Europe, and pleasantly surprised. We stayed off season for three days so the property was quiet, with few other guests. It is owned by the same people that run the stables and riding school, and there is much horse traffic, which we found enjoyable. The owners are extremely hospitable and the property inside is spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a somewhat novel suite with big tub, sauna etc off a smallish bedroom. Our host prerpared a simple dinner at short notice for us on arrival which was very helpful, and we could not fault the hospitality.
Be careful on directions and also that the unmade road up from the BP-5002 is quite rutted and would be interesting in wet and muddy weather!
Surroundings are nice, there is a big private pool (not for us out of season!) and walking areas in hills. I would agree with other reviewers: would be good to have a waste bin in rooms, otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and will return. But if your idea of hotels is Marriott or even Holiday Inn, stay somewhere else. Have a sense of fun, enjoy the surroundings and you'll enjoy Masia Vista Hermosa!More
