I visited vinnci 5 years ago loved it that being reason I went back . This time the whole experience different the staff overall just ok. The reception err ?.. Cleaning superb . Food hard work I lived on tuna salad for week . Did get a very undercooked pork chop one day. Spent more money than intended as all inclusive since spent time in the san blas squares which were great. Would I go again yes san blas no vinnci

first impressions, outside not in bad condition as it has not had a face lift for 10years,hall entrance and lounge area plenty of seating and very pleasantly furnished, quick pleasant check in ,all the staff through out hotel very helpful, upgraded room to family room and had every thing we needed including great views from balcony,,,8th floor,,A.I. drinks very good, hotel very relaxing and layed back and very quiet ,only downside food a bit hit and miss but always found some thing to eat,we think the food depended on which chef was on that day,,,some nice walks in hotel area if that's what you like,,also plenty of bars close by,golf courses within a few minutes from hotel,,over all nice hotel and location for a relaxing holiday,,stayed 8th-15th dec

We last stayed at this hotel 20 years ago. The whole building needs updating but for what we paid for a weeks half board including flights we found it to be quite acceptable. The staff keep the place very clean and we're all very polite. There is not much in the way of night life here but we were here to relax and this is what we did. The town square is even Quiter than it was a few years ago when we last visited the area. The hotel is in a lively area and could with a bit of love and affection become a really good hotel. Plenty if sunbeds around an unheated pool which we would have used more if it had if been. The sea view from our bedroom was fantastic, just the way I remembered it 20 years ago.

The Agent was Your Golf Travel, whom I have used many times previously, but this time they let me down and I will not be using them again,(I will describe why later).
The Hotel is in a good position and very close to Bars, tapas bars and restaurants. The Hotel itself is very quiet and clean and the rooms are adequate. The beds are very comfortable. There was no balcony in my room and Unless you have a suite, I don't think you get one. The breakfast is just about edible, unless you go down late, in which case it isn't. The rest of the food is awful, so don't go all-inclusive!
YGT arranged with Marvellous Tours to pick us up at the airport, but they were 20 mins late, saying they couldn't find us. It turned out they were waiting at another entrance. The cost was 30 pounds each way, when you can get a taxi for 15 euros! When we arrived, there was a mix-up at the Hotel, with me being onAI and my 2 friends being B&B. (This was changed after a call to the Agents). was, however informed before I went that I was on AI, which I queried! We had 4 rounds of golf booked, but for at least two of the rounds, we were entered at different tee times, which could not be altered. On the way back to the airport, we had 2 12 seater vehicles to pick the three of us up at different times!

Room tip: Overlooking swimming pool and sea

Me and my partner paid extra from a cheaper hotel in Las Americas to a more quiet break in a 4 star ..... check in was quick and easy and room was nice sea view and waking up to waves crashing every morning was pure bliss .... the hotel is in need of some serious tidy up although location was excellent just 2 mins for the square which was enough for us massive down fall was definitely the restaurant we not fussy at all but I found the food horrendous cold, and extremely poor with very little option the salad bar even went without lettuce most days quite shocking we went late one night 8.30 restaurant didn't close till 9.3o and the chef had turned the grill off refused to cook us anything fresh we spent a lot more money than expected eating out as there also wasn't any entertainment this could be a lovely hotel but needs a lot of attention
