For a stroll to the village, the hotel's location is too far away from town. However, if one intends to stay put and just relax it is right for you. You should be awarethough that the property covers a hillside, which would make it difficult for wheel chairs to climb up to the rooms.
The rooms, not too spatious, are equipped with the amenities one can expect. During our stay it rained heavily and there was humidity and a fusty smell inside the room. as the patio is accessible to everyone, we did not dare to leave the door open over night and had to use the AC.

The restaurant was a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests. Apparently some groups stayed there simultaneously. The food was nice, except the coffee that was offered for breakfast, but we found it strange that one can not order wine by the glass, rather then having to take a whole bottle.
Check-in/Check-out was fast and friendly.

Room tip: As that the patios at the ground floor level are accessible to everyone, female solo travelers might prefer to choose an upper floor.

My husband and I went to this Resort in the middle of July for a 7 days vacation time. The weather was so perfect and shiny. This Resort is just amazing, the room was so big and clean with a perfect ocean view. It is very charming. The beach was 10 minutes walking distance and we had a private bench and towel during our stay at the beach, very convenient. The staffs were so kind and professional. For sure we'll return. Thanks! It was lovely.

Room tip: Room with an ocean view!

I was there for a long weekend, from 2 to 7 June 2016. The site is astonishing: the rooms are placed on a green hill near the sea. Gardens are kept in perfect conditions. There were cute rabbits around and we also saw a little turtle once! The room was always very clean.
Food was excellent with buffet and served dishes on choice for dinner and lunch and a rich continental breakfast buffet. All the staff was professional and kind in particular the bartenders and the receptionists were always nice and friendly.
The hotel has a private beach with sailing school, a gazebo with cold drinks, coffee, sandwiches, salads and fresh fruit salad. The beach staff provides you with free sun beds and umbrella. We happily spent one whole day on the beach with our 3 kids (12,6, and 3) once, with no particular problem. Although the beach is not far from the hotel, there is a funny electric caddy that brought us there, kids were so happy to ride on it. The pools were quiet and relaxing, especially the one with hydro-massage.
There is a playground in the basement with a tennis table and a pool table that was very convenient during a rainy afternoon.

Stayed at the Stelle Marine Hotel from the 2-9 September 2015.
You cannot fault this hotel in " anyway". On arrival at reception, the service was first class, we were supplied with all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We were taken to our room in a buggy, which was a very short ride. We had a beautiful view of the sea. (Room 205). The rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels were supplied. The food was outstanding, I cannot remember ever eating so much top quality food on a holiday before. The service was top class and professional at all times. Pre dinner and post dinner drinks service in the piano bar were also top notch, everybody was so friendly and welcoming. This is a multi national hotel, in fact we were probably the only English people there at the time, but this was not a problem, nearly everybody spoke English. If you preferred to go down to the private beach, which is only a five minute walk away, you could take a buggy, supplied by the hotel, free of charge, if you did not feel like walking. The umbrellas and sun beds are free to hotel guests, and there is a bar which sells alcohol, coffee, food etc at very reasonable prices. truly relaxing holiday, on a beautiful Island at a first class hotel.
If I had to knit pick, I would ask the piano man to learn a few more songs!

Room tip: Room 205 second floor beautiful views of the sea

The hotel was very good. A nice pool area. The restaurant served very well prepared meals with good varation and typical Sardinian meals. The staff in the restaurant held first class behaviour and service. The beach was very nice with free sunbeds and a bar. A minus for no good walking/running streets. Only the main road that were full of traffic. Overall a good place to rest, eat and enjoy the sun by the pool or the sea.
