My fiancée and I got engaged here. Amazing scenery, positive vibe, and great arrangement. The resort was very clean, food was decent and service was great. We had the most amazing reception and can’t wait to visit again!

My husband and I just returned from Zoetry Marigot Bay and couldn't be happier. We characterize this resort as a "Diamond in the Rough" because it has so much potential. Given the beautiful location and the amazing people, we believe they'll be polished and shining brightly within the very near future! If you are reading this then I'll presume you've read the challenges of lack of chairs/too many stairs, etc. We won't be focusing on these because as a newly opened resort there are always learning curves, unforeseen glitches and supply chain issues. Great organizatons learn from these and grow to be wildly successful. If guests are still talking about these issues 6 months from now that's a different set of problems. We are members of the UVC resort club who've spent almost all of our years at resorts in Mexico, Costa Rica and Jamaica. We chose this resort primarily because we desperately needed relaxation, a peaceful setting and time to appreciate all the good around us. The "Covid Years" took away two of our very best friends. It changed us in so many ways. Zoetry Marigot Bay was exacting what we needed. So, in regard to the good around us...our thanks to Dayne for helping us navigate the everyday routines. You are insightful, intelligent, personable and have all it takes to be a success. Our compliments to Chef Juan - who is undoubtedly more than a Chef - more likely an Ambassador to this resort or the island of St. Lucia! On any given day you will see Chef Juan in the 1461 Restaurant but you'll also see him mixing with the guests, smiling and shaking hands as he walks throughout the resort. He takes the time to speak with you about the vision for this resort - he is articulate, creative and multi-talented. Our best wishes to you Chef Juan. What can we say about the heart and soul of the 1461 Restaurant other than you are an inspiring team of professionals. Stayed at Zoetry Marigot Bay for 6 nights, 7 days. The pros: the food is the best we’ve had at almost any resort. Very fresh, quality food. From massive bacon cheeseburgers and fries to mango jerk chicken salad, it was delicious. We ate on the resort as well as off at JJ’s, Doo Littles, and the Villa. All were excellent. The weather is perfect all year round. It’s rains almost daily but it’s short quick bursts. We did the hiking tour, sip and paint, and rum tasting with the resort. We also did an excursion to see the refreshing waterfall, the mud bath, and snorkeling. Lots of unique fish and overall fun experiences. I did the spa experience and it was nice but don’t expect to do all the extras at this resort. The staff at the resort for UVC were top notch! Dayne, Zoe, and Kamar we’re exceptional. The resort staff, Kaydi, Neal, Tyree were also wonderful to work with. They went out of their way to ensure my birthday was extra special! The natural landscaping around the resort is beautiful! It was a very relaxing environment. Also seeing the yachts was an experience, 90 million dollar yachts to view! All the guests were really friendly and fun to be around.

The cons: the hotel needs renovating. For them to have opened in December, I expected better facilities. We had a junior suite and it’s literally a small room with a bed and bathroom, so we upgraded to the penthouse. While the room had two floors and much bigger space, still renovations were needed, especially in the powder rooms. There were a few broken parts in almost every restroom I visited. Beware the taxi from the airport to the resort is about an hour and very hilly. I have motion sickness and felt every curve. Come prepared with bands or nausea medicine. The service is super slow there. It was like all the waiters were still in training. The room service food ended up being luke warm because of the wait time. I suggest ordering well before you become hangry . They also ran out of certain foods. Bananas for example. It’s their biggest export but they ran out of bananas for 3 days. Also, there was not a gift shop so make sure to bring everything you need or you’ll have to take a taxi into town to purchase anything like sunscreen.

Overall, wonderful experience. UVC plans to open a Secrets there by the end of the year so hopefully the facilities are improved. We are platinum members.
