Marie and her husband were excellent hosts. The house is beautifully decorated, our room and bathroom were large and comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. There is a lovely and spacious garden with seating outside, as well.

This place is wonderful ~ a beautiful property, newly renovated rooms, modern amenities. The property is beautiful. The owner, Marie, is the consummate hostess and made a delicious breakfast that included her homemade jams and a fruit crumble to die for. A great stay and we will definitely come back.

Marie was a terrific host welcoming our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens & a baby) into her lovely home. She was always very responsive to questions before our stay. Upon arrival Marie welcomed us warmly and showed us around telling us to use her home as if it were ours. We had 2 connecting bedrooms with ample space and a large ensuite bathroom. After getting settled she offered some tea and homemade cakes which was a welcome treat. Breakfast was another treat with a beautifully prepared table, a different dish each of the 2 mornings we were there, as well as cakes, bread, jams, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, cocoa. The surprise dish and the cakes & jams were all homemade, and everything was served on/in beautiful china. After breakfast she pulled out a map and gave us many suggestions on places to visit around Normandy as well as restaurant suggestions in Lion sur Mer which were within walking distance. This was also a good place to base a visit to D-Day sites. And with Marie's help and her good English we were able to maximize our time in the area. We stayed at Le Vivier in March so the gardens weren't blooming yet, but being able to enjoy their vast gardens would be an added bonus to your stay. Our 1 year old was very busy, and Marie pulled out some toys that she keeps for her grandchildren to help us occupy her. They do have 3 dogs, which we loved, but they weren't bothersome at all if dogs aren't your thing. I'm so happy we found this treasure. Our stay could not have been better, and this is one place I would go out of my way to stay at again!! Thank you Marie!!

May I take this opportunity to thank Marie for her outstanding hospitality. We were made to feel as though it was our home. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room had beautiful decor. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and more than suffice.
Breakfast was perfect with home made pannacota, Preserves and amazing scones. We will definitely return if we are in the area.
I can definitely recommend this as an excellent place to stay. Marie and Pascals hospitality is second to none.

We really enjoyed our stay with Marie & Pascale. Marie is very friendly, and we enjoyed talking with her. My children loved playing with their dogs as well. The house is beautifully decorated with bonbons and Calvados to sample. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds. Wi-Fi works well. Breakfast was awesome with scones and a special fruit dish baked fresh by Marie. All of the jams were also homemade. Only issue was the gate to get into the property. It is a tight squeeze!
