Arrived for a week on this sunny island, bit disappointed at first by our rooms, very dark and could do with a bit of renovation. However they were kept spotlessly clean by the maids every day. We were put into a quiet area in the Restaurant and boy were we glad of this, main restaurant very noisy and not many manners by the Italians.
We had wonderful staff and who could not do enough for us, but we were the only English staying at the time and this made conversing with people rather difficult at times.

Room tip: Our room was across the road from the Restaurant. The map was a bit confusing but soon got used to where everything was.

This was my first time visiting Sardinia and it was a good visit. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were extremely spacious. The only downside we found was that there was only one shop in the area which did not sell things which we needed. We did however find some shops a short walk away but if you are looking for somewhere with lots of shops, you'll require a car or the bus.
We happened to be the only English people visiting the hotel at this time which was not a problem, however most of the entertainment staff on the beach avoided talking to us except one. Luca, was the only person who came and talked to us the whole trip and he tried very well with his English. This is also another thing which slightly let the hotel down, the lack of staff not knowing English. Some did try but it was hard trying to talk to them.
The beach was very clean, white sand and clear water which was extremely nice. We found that going to the beach in the morning was better due to how hot it got at this point of the day and the sea breeze was cooling. There is not much shade around the pools or on the beach but this did not bother us too much.
Overall, it was a very satisfying holiday and would book again.

Stayed in May with my husband for a week. Initially we were a bit disappointed, weather was bad on arrival, the edge of the beach was covered in black seaweed and we had hysterical noisy neighbours (and barely any sleep at all) on the first night. But on waking on our 2nd day (we heard the noisy neighbours depart with their suitcases at 5 am, thank goodness) we were quite happy. The hotel was spotlessly clean and our bed was changed every day as were the towels. As we were staying off season according to the staff (Italian summer hols don't begin until 1st June), the hotel was wonderfully quiet. Perhaps not everyone's cup of tea if you like lots of activities etc but was perfect for us. No queues for food, bar, reception etc. Things did get busier but it didn't really affect us as we left soon after.

The adult pool was lovely, only a few beds around the pool (half of which are in the shade half of the day) but we usually had the whole area to ourselves which was a bonus!

Food was fine, I'm a vegan who doesn't eat gluten and I managed to eat well (if slightly repetitively) over the week and certainly never went hungry. My husband who eats everything ate very well and found plenty of variation. Water and house wine are provided with meals which is good. Wifi is only available in the bar area and only after getting a code from reception that lasts 2 hours. Again, nothing to moan about there, we didn't go on holiday to be glued to our phones, it was actually quite liberating!

Regarding the beach and the seaweed, obviously an act of nature and no reflection on the hotel, but it was annoying as you couldn't enter the sea directly beyond the loungers as the mountain of dried seaweed was so high. We did find some lovely beaches a short stroll in both directions so it was fine, we just didn't use the hotel loungers at all. The clear up did begin once the tourist season had begun after June 1st, so by now all will be fine I'm sure!

We walked to the Oasis di Bidderosa, it took about an hour to get there and you do have to cross the entrance to a lake (if you take the scenic short cut route straight along the beach) but you can walk through the water as it's not deep and hold your bags above your head! It's worth it, the beach and surrounding area is so beautiful. If you have a car it won't take any time at all to get there but the walk was lovely and so many of the beaches we walked along were completely deserted, so worth it just for that!

The hotel is isolated but if all you want is some sun and some lounging (which we did) then it's not a problem. And you can easily walk along the beach if you want to get away from everything and explore a little. If you want to get out and about then a car is essential. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Some don't have such great English but they all make an effort. In the evenings the animation staff like to talk to everyone around the bar, I think they enjoy speaking to the English people as they like to practice : ) 2 staff members even joined us for a game or 2 of Uno, very sweet!

All in all a relaxing stay.

I will start by saying, "we were ready for a holiday in the sun but, the hotel were not ready for us"! At least that's how it seemed. I wont go into details. The staff were fine. However, it appeared that many had not arrived for the season until the last days we were there. The food was rather basic. Italy is famous for it's cooking, sadly they haven't heard about that yet in Sardinia! It was OK, that's it OK! The last few days saw some marked improvement though.

The rooms were always clean and tidy as was the bathroom. There was NO tourist information at the reception or anywhere else for that matter! So, you have to find out everything yourself, car hire, nearby restaurants, things to see, the list goes on but I won't.

They had a problem with the beaches which they were trying valiantly to clear until the day we left. I will point out that the resort is isolated so you have to travel around to see anything about Sardinia at all. Although there is a Caravan site 10 minutes walk from the resort with a couple of very apparently (you tell me) ordinary restaurants. If you happen to be a gourmet or foody (whatever they are) then you may (and I repeat may) be a little disappointed?

Having said that, the hotel from the swimming pool to drinks bar in fact everywhere was always immaculate as were the grounds. The staff were always helpful very polite and made enjoyable hosts! Our linen and towels etc were changed everyday.

Did we enjoy our stay, yes we did very much?

Never seen before : on arrival you are requested to settle the total of your stay even before having a look at your room !
Reception personnel not smiling, inefficient and letting you feel that you're a nuisance if you ask for anything. Impossible to get a second key for our room, prepaid card compulsory.
Room ok but not big, dark bathroom and tiny balcony. Housekeeping not efficient either : a full ashtray on the balcony on our arrival stayed full for 3 days !
Basic breakfast in a huge and very noisy dining room where you will be assigned to a different table each day. The canteen like atmosphere made us give up the idea of having evening meals at the hotel.
Wifi working in the lobby only, with a code valid for 2 hours, after filling in a form day after day...
Two nice swimming pools, one with animation, but pool bar has nothing but crisps to eat and closes at 1 p.m. : what for is the prepaid card ?
Pleasant area with armchairs under palm trees in front of the main building.
A good 5 minutes walk to reach a nice beach with sun beds and umbrellas, but visited by a continuous flock of vendors trying to get your attention and... money.
