location, structure, facilities most acceptable

Have been to this hotel thrice in 25 years. Renovated, fine out of season charm. Conferential tourism mars the romance of it. Fine marbled floors and sensible room decoration. Good view which in the wintry weather reminded me of Oceanic habitats i.e. New Zealand or Australia, but that is with some free association. Breakfast was essentially plain and simple and the terraced view could be better but that has to do with the space utilization of the hotel. Some parking congestion and a fine walk from the town innards. Price was of the good value for money variety.

Excellent stay in Preveza

Room was spacious and comfortable, bath as well.
Very clean
Polite and helpful personnel
Excellent breakfast with many choices
Free parking on-site
Nice view from the big balcony
good wi-fi reception

value for money

Decent hotel room, nice breakfast, wonderful view from the restaurant.
Exceptional personnel
The only thing that was embarracing was that the balcony wasn't clean for some time.
The atmosphere reminds me of Hercule Poirot movie...

Ιdyllic location

Located in the entrance of the city of Preveza, nearby the laggon. A place of quiet and peace. All rooms have very good location. Excellent staff service, cleanliness everywhere. Huge parking and very easy to access.

Room tip: a room with view to laggon

Α very good all season choice for your stay in Preveza!

Having stayed a few years ago at Margarona during summer, i was really glad that i visited the hotel also during winter. It remains a great value-for-money hotel just 5' by car outside Preveza.
Spacious, clean rooms. Comfy beds and good heating. The room furniture maybe a little bit worn but it's no bid deal. The bathroom is big and clean minus the basket that needs to be replaced!
Breakfast is plenty and satisfying. Dinner (we tried once) wasn't that great though.
Last but not least, the hotel staff is always helpful and smiling!
P.S. Hopefully the next time, the corridors' carpet will be gone...
