First the positive points regarding this hotel, welcoming friendly staff , amazing views , comfy pillows and beds . We had a room which although furniture was a little worn ,the air on was great and had brand new clean carpets. We arrived to find complementary fruit , wine and water from management as there had been a mix up by our travel agents ,( not the hotels fault ) and it was a way to make up for mix up.
The breakfast is good for a three star establishment and is served facing the pool and lake which is a lovely sight in the morning.Pool was clean .
It is a short taxi ride into town and taxis were regular and each journey was 5 euros . The drivers were all very polite and helpfull when asked for recommendations and information.
Now the negative points, the WiFi could be better , the cleaners were not very thorough especially in the bathroom , the hotel needs a refurbishmentin in some areas it looks neglected . Public area windows ,balustrades need a good clean .The bar area and public room overlooking pool is very hot with inadequate ac and the sofas are very old ,this makes it uninviting .
There are no pavements along road leading out of hotel, if you decide to walk anywhere , which is a shame as it is a lovely area to explore. I hope now that the Amalia group has taken over hotel , that the next time we visit the faults will be rectified , the place has a lot of potential . Preveza is a great place to take a holiday it left a great impression on us and I’m sure we will visit again.More
