We spent a holiday in Malama from 17.6.-27.6. with our two kids (2y & 3,5y) and it was great.
Apartment:
We got a villa number 31 and our apartment was on the ground floor. The location was a bit far from the pool (3-4 minutes walking) and beach on the other hand it was quiet and there was no noise from the pool or from the evening program. With two kids and a stroller the ground floor was the best option.
Apartment itself was spacious enough and well equipped. The only negative thing were the sofa in the living room, which were meant for sleeping in case you have more adults in the apartment. The sofas were very noisy, if I would sleep on it I would wake up after every tinny movement.
The room service was good, every morning (except Sunday) there was a lady in her best age cleaning up everything.
Restaurant:
The food was excellent! Besides usual all inclusive buffet there were the "in house" restaurants in the food court delivering grilled meats or seafood or making fresh pasta in front of your eyes. Especially a cook named Dimas was great.
Pool
The three pools were great, especially the kids pool was the most fun for our children.
Other great thing, at our arrival we could chose the sunbeds which were reserved for us during the whole stay. So we did not have to hurry or look...We spent a holiday in Malama from 17.6.-27.6. with our two kids (2y & 3,5y) and it was great.

The three pools were great, especially the kids pool was the most fun for our children.
Other great thing, at our arrival we could chose the sunbeds which were reserved for us during the whole stay. So we did not have to hurry or look for a free sunbed every day.
The only negative thing, our kids sand toys and a ball was stolen after couple of days. We used to store it under the sunbeds in order not to carry it all several times a day when going to our apartment. On one morning everything was gone. I checked with the hotel personnel and I was told not to leave anything under the sunbeds during the night.
Beach
The beach is quite small, maybe 150m wide. Especially during the weekends it was quite crowded. But afternoon we did not have a big problem to find a spot. Otherwise the sea was great, maybe 20meter in the sea the depth was about a meter. Good for kids. The negative thing was, you have to pay for every sunbed and an umbrella 2,5e per day. And there is no beach bar, so you have to climb to the pool bar every time you want a drink.
Bar
The bar is a classic all inclusive type of pool bar. Waterish local beer, fair choice of non alcoholic drinks. And then there is the cocktail machine. DO NOT EVER order a Mojito or Tequilla Sunrise or anything from that machine! Never. I did it once, got a neon green drink presented as Mojito. You could not recognize anything else but sugar, tons of sugar. I just got one sip.. By all means, this was the worst cocktail in my whole life. Otherwise the bartenders were mostly friendly (hello Jonny).
Minimarket
There is a mini market in the area with a fair range of anything you might need during your vacation. I expected it to be overpriced, but it wasnt. It was ok.
Overall a great vacation.More
