We stayed here by chance, hoping to avoid les gilets jaunes recently. Comfortable, nice bed, pity there was no kettle in the room as the bar was closed and there was no service of any sort after 7pm. Sorry not to write this in French but am busy! Had a nice meal in the recommended restaurant in town, plenty of parking space.

Great place, great location, lots to see. Great food in the French Catalan region. Beach front. Nice walks. Very friendly people! Prices very reasonable. Hotel right on the beach a short walk from main thoroughfare.

This is a smaller hotel located on the outskirts of Banyuls-sur-mer but it is located at the same time close to a very nice beach. Behind the hotel is a fairly busy road and between the hotel and the sea is a local street with less traffic. The hotel is close to a bus stop for bus No. 400. The hotel is thus close to a good beach but unfortunately there were no beach towels provided through the hotel. The hotel is over 50 years old but has been modernized and renovated over the years. The staff were very nice and friendly and spoke good english. The rooms are on several floors but there is an elevator.
We had a normal sized room but that had an extra bed upstairs on a loft reached via a steep metal staircase. The room had a balcony with seating and a nice sea view. The room had a safety box which we think works only if you pay for it. The air conditioning was efficient, there was a minibar but no kettle. The room had a TV and the Wifi is free but worked badly or not at all. This can be a problem as there is also poor coverage on the mobile network. The room was very modernly decorated with bedside tables in steel and glass. The bathroom was large and had a bath with shower. Breakfast is served as a smaller buffet in the hotel's restaurant on the ground floor which has sea views. As hot dishes there were scrambled eggs, cooked eggs but no bacon. There was bread, chocolate bread, raisin bread, fruit salad, muesli, yogurt and coffee from a machine. You could squeeze orange juice yourself. We had half board and had dinner at the hotel. As a half board you have a special three-course menu every day and you do not get the dishes that are usually on the menu. What you choose as a drink is added to the room bill. Even though booking half board, you need to book a table at the restaurant's website. The food was good and delicious and the restaurant has quite a few external guests as well who do not live here. The hotel also has a small spa on the ground floor with a sauna and a whirlpool, we did not try this one. There is no ordinary pool available, so the only option is the sea. We thought maybe the hotel was somewhat expensive and the room decor was a bit too metallic/modern but the location is good near a nice beach

Staff and service together with the location were excellent and we are looking forward to seeing the pool and garden expansion on our return visit next summer.special mention must go to the reception staff who were on the ball and who were able to take the hassle out of organising restaurant reservations and booking daily excursions.Thank you one and all.

We had a superior room (sea view). There's not many of these rooms and we had the one above reception which gave you a side on sea view and a great view up the hill to watch the traffic! The balcony could only accommodate 2 small chairs (due to the aircon split living on the floor),the other sea view rooms had a larger balcony as they also had a table.
The room was very nice as was the beds - no complaints there. The walk into town took 20 mins, dont follow the coast road.take the road up hill that parallels the coast road in a residential area its quicker and part of the artist trail.
Nice town but Collioure is far better.

Room tip: Not the one above reception if you want a good sea view
