For sure a place to visit and discover, need sometime to walk in the street to discover this lovely part of Macau, don’t hesitate to eat some good street food ! Enjoy and take pictures:-)
Enjoyed the scenic ole Taipa village and get to taste most of St Foods that one crave for in the village. Like the original egg tart at Lord's. There's a Michelin pastry outlet opposite tarts shop.
Do check out Church of our Lady on top of a scenic hill & take the steps way back to Centre Point of Taipa village. You shd come across a Temple on the left side on the narrow street.
Hitch a free bus ride from Star World in Macau to Galaxy Hotel in Taipa. The Village is just across Galaxy Hotel via an escalated overhead bridge.
There are selection of food choices in Galaxy Hotel Food Court. Maccas is there too in case u choose to have a reasonable price good cuppa.
For repeat travelers to Macau who have visited the iconic Ruins at St Paul’s, you can skip Senado Square and spend half a day here where you can also find food and souvenirs from Senado Square, plus lots of photo opportunities amidst colorful buildings, murals, stairs and back alleys. Lord Stow’s egg tarts, HK Cheung Chau mango mochi, Seng Cheong crab porridge, Starbucks, Tiger Sugar bubble tea and many Portuguese restaurants are here. There is also a closed down fireworks factory nearby. A short walk and overhead bridge across the highway brings you to The Venetian.
Walk around for shopping and of course for the nice food or must-eat-food in Macau. Walking on the streets are also nice for photo shooting.
Old Town in Taipa is the historic center on Taipa side. An area with small streets, low houses, lots of restaurants and other shops. A time warp back to the time when Taipa was a small village. It is easy to get there with public transport, many buses stop by. it is also across from Galaxy, just across the road. On weekends there are armies of tourists so it can get very crowded there. But definitely worth it, when in Macau this is a must see. While there enjoy the typical Macanese street food and souvenir shops.
