We enjoyed getting lost in exploring the many little streets in this area. Some quaint shops and little restaurants to try. A bit of an escape from the bustle of the casinos and big hotels with some cute streets.

Go there via Venetian and very long walking elevator. Taipa village is now having tourists visiting the place. Will see the past Macau buildings and many nice foods.

Bursting street of shops, location near to the top hotels and variety of places to just walk around nearby.

Spent 4 hours walking the streets of Taipa including looking at the old Portuguese inspired houses overlooking the river. As it was close to X'mas there was a local flower festival with many interesting varieties of flowers. There were shops and restaurants which were totally the opposite of those at Venetian, ie they seem to belong to another era.

We enjoyed the heritage walk after dinner, from Cunha street to the Macau Wet Land (a lake), away from the crowd with a nice view too. There's a small scale flower show at the moment but it's not the attraction to us. It's the cosy and relaxed atmosphere after dark.

We took the long walkalator out to the main road where you can walk up the overhead bridge cross over to The Venetian.

If you have the time. Do explore the Cunha street and this heritage walk!
