The hotel itself is very attractive in terms of architecture and grounds, but there were some odd flaws with the room and service:
-Only one towel for two people.
-No extra roll of toilet paper in the bathroom
-The safe was already locked and couldn’t be opened.
-the ceiling fan goes on crazy fast or nearly not at all
-the dining room had so many flies that it was aggravating to eat there. 2 of our drinks had to be replaced from flies diving into our drinks

We slept fine and the room was clean, so these little annoyances were just that...little ,but keeps me from giving a better review.

La Comarca Hotel is a beautiful little hotel located on the outskirts of town but within walking distance. The gardens are beautiful. While rooms are little dated with many configured as "family rooms" (ie. Three beds), they are clean. In the summer the rooms may be alittle warm as they are not airconditioned, but overhead fans will help with the heat. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent - one of the best hotel dinners we had on our SA tour. 4 star.

The long distance bus dropped us off on a dusty road and we got a taxi the short way to the hotel. What a delight!. Stunning location with those beautiful colours all around and tranquil well tended gardens.
Our balcony looked out over the small stream surrounded by flowers and each individually designed bungalow was a delight. Our room was well and tastefully furnished and many touches around showed an artistic flair.
Breakfast was good and we enjoyed a meal here. Possibly not the world's best service but great food and excellent value.
The small town is quickly seen and surrounded by the most magnificent coloured hills.
Some folk climbed them early am to get some stunning shots but we felt they were best seen from below.
Purmamarca is a unique place and well worth a visit and this hotel is the perfect place to stay

Stay one night with friends. The town is lovely and the surrounding mountains are spectacular. The layout of the hotel, the rooms and the gardens are beautiful. Breakfast was good and the waiter really nice and jolly. The swimming pool is OK to cool off and the spa and gym are currently being refurbished. Great nights sleep. Highly recommend.

Stayed at La Comarca for 2 nights and had a great time. Its in the outskirts of Purmamarca, which is very small! So in other words it was greatly located to explore the town and to come in and out with the car to explore the region.
The hotel itself is cute and super tranquil. Very warm which is important with the low temperatures. We had food in the restaurant which was very good and in general all the staff were super friendly and trying to help with info and tips.
