Basic complex. Rooms had everything u needed for a self catering holiday.fab views from room 18 had pool and sea views. Life guard is a credit to the complex.beds we're really uncomfortable all mattresses need replacing and more pillow's glad it was just 4 nights back and neck was aching even kids were complaining. Shuttle bus on offer but did walk and use taxi 3 euro to the main square. I personally wouldn't recommend to take kids unless they like a very quiet complex and nothing else as ours was bored with nothing else to do other that pools..age 8/9 but overall it did the job a cheap few days away. Have rated two star simple reason none of us had a good night sleep and that's the only reason I wouldn't return even without kids.

The hotel is at the top of a not that steep a hill, but the extra height emphasises the windy conditions on the island and it is very windy there. On the plus side the rooms are large and the TV actually has English channels, BBC1, ITV and Sky news which is usual in my experience. On the downside the single beds (is it asking to much for a double bed) are narrow and creak a lot. You have to pay for wifi which is not on these days. We ate at the bar one day but it has just overcooked frozen food.
In summary it's not bad but not great either.

Very basic but that was all we needed as we were out all day and most of the night. Nothing luxurious but you get what you pay for.
Good value for money, clean and very spacious.
Staff are friendly and helpful
Only a 15 minute walk into Costa Teguise or to the beach

Room Tip: Ask for one of the newly refurbished apartments

We have just returned from a short break at the Lanzarote Paradise self-catering apartments in Calle Argentina. We had expected a studio apartment, but on arrival, the accommodation wasn't ready. Instead, we travelled into the town of Costa Teguise, using the hotel's free bus shuttle service. On our return to the accommodation, we were given quite a sumptuous, spacious one bedroom apartment, with good sea views from the balcony, and upto date kitchen facilities. The Paradise complex itself, including reception areas, swimming pool, corridors, bar areas and windows, was kept scrupulously clean. The Paradise staff were, on the whole, very committed, conscientious and friendly, with the exception of one male night receptionist who, for the most part, seemed uninterested and preoccupied. Also, not all the services advertised in the hotel's promotional material are actually available (one small example being the the fact that postal stamps and postcards could not be obtained from reception). The complex itself is large, and the website photos can be somewhat misleading - showing one part of the hotel 'empire' which isn't accessible to visitors based in another part. Even so, the apartments, overall, were great value for money, and well worthy of a strong recommendation. The apartments lie at the very edge of the Costa Teguise town development (hence the reasonably regular free shuttle buses into the centre of town). However, for those happy and able to walk down palm tree and cacti laden avenues, in the sunshine, towards the town and sea, the distance is no real problem. Excursions to notable places in Lanzarote can be rather expensive, if organised via the island's tour companies. However, the public buses offer very regular, cheap and quite conveniently located services to Puerto del Carmen, Arrecife, Teguise, Nazaret and many other places. We took the public buses to many of these places, and were always impressed by the punctuality of the service offered. The Lanzarote Paradise, amidst the palm trees, cactus and black volcanic ash/soil of its gardens and public places, makes a fitting base to explore what is a lovely island. For those with musical tastes, the Volcano Bar also has an excellent saxophonist!

Room Tip: Rooms on the first and/or second floors offer better views.
