A great tranquil property with friendly and professional staff.
There is everything one needs in the well equipped kitchenette and even a full sized refrigerator....was even able to get a coffee plunger from reception.
A good ducted air-con set-up and large bathroom with a shower and a jacuzzi type tub..
I was in a spacious one bedroom unit that had good furnishings, was spotlessly clean with good linen and new fluffy bath towels... pretty much like I was at home.
The grounds are very well kept with a large pool area.
For those choosing to use public transport there is a bus stop that is a five minute walk from the main gate and a bus going to the beach or shopping mall virtually every twenty minutes...About 10 /15 minutes to the mall and 15 / 20 to the beach.
For those here for TAFE....and also soon to be the Commonwealth Games head office facility too.. you use the second gate and it is a short relaxing ten minute walk or a two minute drive.
This property is hands down good value for money.
Just nothing was to much trouble for this team of experts....look no further !

Thank you,
Rob Knowles

Room tip: Upstairs are one bedroom and downstairs are two I believe..

Thank you for your great review of our property. Our whole aim when designing Royal Woods Resort was to make it a luxurious place where people could relax in peace as if they were at home so your description of it being "a home away from home" is perfect.

Our team work to the motto that "nothing is too much trouble" so for you to say that "nothing was too much trouble for this team of experts" captures what we strive to achieve every day. It makes us proud to know that we are getting it right and we sincerely thank you for your praise.

We look forward to welcoming you with the same professionalism and friendly hospitality next time you visit the Gold Coast.

This is my forth time I have come to the Royal woods apartments with my wife twice and kids the other times, great staff , I have not got one thing bad to say about the stays at the place. I believe in customer focused and the staff are just that, from the top to the cleaners. To the staff thank you very much again . This place has got it all quiet, away from all the hustle and bussell, but only about 6 km from the surfers paradise Gold Coast , if you do not want fo go to the surf you can enjoy the great big pool and have a bbq at the same time , there is one thing I would have liked a tv in the bed room

We appreciate your feedback about a television in the bedroom. Our Management Team are currently planning our accommodation refurbishments to start this year and have added this suggestion to the items we are looking into.

Our entire team look forward to welcoming you and your family back to Royal Woods Resort for your fifth stay next time you are on the Gold Coast.

My partner and I spent a night away at the Royal Woods and the hotel itself was lovely. Clean, spacious and the entire resort was very secure. The rooms themselves were a little outdated and old, however this didn't worry us.

The only downside was how far away it was from everything. Still quite a drive to the beach and central precincts.

Thank you for your kind words about Royal Woods Resort. Our team appreciate it.

With the rooms, we are excited that we will be commencing a refurbishment program this year and would love to welcome you back to stay with us in the future to experience our updated luxury accommodation.

When building the Resort, we chose a location that was central to everything that the Gold Coast has to offer, rather than close to one location. We are in the middle of an activity hub, from Nightlife and Dining in Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise, to the beautiful beaches, major shopping precincts and out to the theme parks and stunning Hinterland. Most of these places are within a 15 minute drive of Royal Woods so we can cater for all guest activity needs from singles, to couples and families.

Booked a one bedroom suite and ended up staying in a two bedroom premium suite # 36B for two nights. Located on the ground floor, it really was good, however next time I would request an upstairs room as the ceilings seem quite thin and you could hear every footstep from the guests above. It was extremely clean, had a well equipped kitchen, great air con and a comfy bed. The resort is in a very quite location away from the traffic. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a complimentary bfst basket the first night and for the second night it cost $8.00. The basket includes: bread for toast, spreads and butter, juice, cereal, milk and tin fruit The resort does not have an onsite restaurant, however the RACV Royal Pines Resort is a 10 minute walk away and a couple of kms away you have the Ashmore Seafood and Steakhouse. The pool area was good with both an indoor and outdoor pool, BBQ facilities, steam room and 2 spas. Whilst the pool was very clean it could do with some maintenance to replace the cracked and broken tiles around the edge. The downstairs villa opened out to a grassy area which is fenced off from the villas either side. I know it is summer and there has been rain and a lot of heat, however the grass really does need a mow ... it looked a little unloved. Overall though it was a great stay and would be suitable for a long stay as well as the short one we had.

Room tip: Request an upstairs villa to avoid hearing footsteps of guests above you.

Thank you for your great feedback on Royal Woods Resort accommodation, facilities, location and our staff. Our team always appreciate comments from our guests so we know what we are doing well and which areas we can improve on.

With our location, Benowa Village shopping centre has officially opened within a short walking distance of Royal Woods Resort, giving guests a larger choice of dining in our area. This great new centre offers a Supermarket, bottleshop, petrol station and approximately 14 specialty retailers including cafes, restaurants, takeaway food and a range services.

We apologise that the grass courtyard area needed a mow during your stay. We have a fulltime grounds person employed but with almost half of the Resort’s 12 acre allotment dedicated to landscaped gardens and natural green space, and the unusually high amount of rain and heat we had, it had been difficult to keep everything perfect. We are looking into garden maintenance schedules we can put in place without having to employ an extra person we would need to lay off over the winter months.

In regards to our pool area, we commenced a renovation of the pool and surrounding facilities in March. We are doing this in stages so as not to disrupt guest enjoyment and use of the area and expect it to be completed in May.

We'd love to welcome you back to stay at Royal Woods Resort on your next visit to the Gold Coast so you can experience the luxurious updated pool and facilities.
