We stayed there for a week in the end of september. Our stay included half board. Came late in the evening, and the friendly staff at the reception gave us a warm welcome. Got the room quickly, but as it was a small room, we asked for a different room. They managed that very quickly, and we got a nice room with seaview. Good service in the restaurant, even if the hotel was booked for a big private party that evening. Room was nicely cleaned every day with fresh towels. Good service from staff in the reception and in the restaurant. Restaurant manager made sure we had some good wines with our meals every night, and fine service every where in the hotel. Pool area not big but fine. Indoor pool not open due to maintanence. Beach is a stone beach with lots of small stones, but ok if you want to go for a swim. Small boat harbour next door.
This is not a luxury hotel but a good mid-range hotel with a great staff.

Another hotel where there doesn't appear to be an ordinary car park and finding a way into reception was a mission - but in the end well worth it.
It verges on a bucket and spade hotel but the service to our table above the beach in the moonlight was beyond reproach with attentive and helpful staff. Again, the food was excellent with breakfast to match.
Smallish rooms but well fitted out - but take a ball of string, getting back to your room after a pleasant sojourn at the bar needs a compass and a map because of the layout.

So first the plus side, my friend had a birthday party here and the food was definitely good and the wait staff were really fun and accommodating.

But this hotel is really strange. When we arrived at about 5;30 in the evening there were two young men at the desk who were on their phones texting and could barely bring themselves to look up when I said "Buona Serra." The one who seemed to be "in charge" was anything but friendly and during the several days of our stay I can only describe him as someone who really could care less about the customers experience.

The building itself is interesting because it used to be a tuna factory, but it can be slightly labyrinthine if no one explains where you need to go (and the unhelpful gentleman did not).

The rooms are odd, for example, there are absolutely no shelves in the shower to put soaps/razors/shampoos etc. and there appeared to be a shortage of hooks etc. for which to hang things. The entire impression was that perhaps the contractors did a rush job and either did not think things through or they did not completely finish.

The "beach" is right there, but so are the boats and actually it's not clean to swim right where the boats dock. The pool is very small relative to the size of the hotel and it was completely over crowded, when my daughter went to take a look she noticed the level of chemicals....not a good sign.

To be fair the ladies at the desk in the morning whom we passed on the way to breakfast were certainly more cheerful than the young guys who worked there later, but the entire experience felt like being in a hotel which generally lacked hospitality in an unfinished setting.

I would not go back, there are too many other nice places.

Room Tip: I found this hotel uncomfortable for a number of reasons

So, first of all, there were a few good things:

- View from the room / hotel
- Most of the staff was kind

That's it. Now, regarding the bad stuff:

- AC did not work.
- No parking.
- Beach is NOT private.
- Worst coffee I ever had (and I've travelled to many countries and continents!)
- The dinner included in the half board was not disgusting, bud just so boring and not good that it should be considered an insult to italian culture.
- Far from EVERYTHING (by car: 35min Palermo, 40min Cefalu, 1h10 from the Airport in Palermo)

I recommend you stay away from this place, as it is a huge scam. They try to attract customer with their indeed nice view, but that's about it!

I repeat : STAY AWAY

Room Tip: Take a room with sea view, the rest are horrible and only have a ''view'' on the interior of the hotel.

Hotel is clean and spacious with lovely rooms. Includes a fantastic pizzeria for the evening by the sea. Very relaxing atmosphere. Can be occasionally noisy due to parties which go on till 1:00am. if you happen to have a room next to the party area.

Room Tip: Make sure the room is not next to the pool area, as they have parties here which go on till 1:00am
