We held an AGM in 'La Melée' conference room last week and afterwards had lunch.
The meeting room is a reasonable size and held 60 people which is probably the comfortable limit. Organisation beforehand was easy with the help the hotel's experienced and obliging team. Room layout was just as we'd asked and the AV system was excellent.
We pre-ordered a three-course lunch for 45. The choice was limited for such a number but adaptations were made for those with special dietary needs. I rarely choose fish especially when cooked for such a large party but have to say it was the best cooked swoardfish steak I've ever eaten.
A small group of us had lunch there in November to check out the kitchen. Sweetest lamb chops!

Lovely hotel based on a rugby theme, loads of memorabilia.. large spacious room, large comfy bed, fantastic powerful shower, great restaurant with a good choice of meals. Only gripe as with all Ibis hotels no way of making a coffee in your room, only a water cooler in reception, not even any paper cups in your room. Just be aware it’s not in Castelnaudary it’s just off the autoroute, but that wasn’t an issue for us, in fact it was so good we are staying again in two weeks time !

I stayed here last weekend with 5 colleagues all in individual rooms as we were part of a festival in a nearby town. The hotel was spotless, very quirky with its Twickenham theme. Didn’t eat in the restaurant at night so I can’t comment on that ,but the Continental breakfast was excellent and varied.
