We stayed at Salvadonica for two nights but wished it was longer! The hotel is very beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. The pool and lounging area looks out onto the rolling hills is Chianti. The breakfast was amazing- great variety and everything was fresh. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and had pasta and lamb. The lamb was to die for !!! This is a beautiful hotel if you want amazing views and relaxation! Rooms were very clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful in offering recommendations for eating in the area!

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. Our 3 rooms were all different and interesting. The cooking class was very fun and our meal very good. Breakfast was consistent every day. The wine selection varies and there are some really wines at reasonable prices. The views alone make this a wonderful place to stay but the food, staff, and location help

A beautiful hotel, great facilities and staff in a delightful setting, beautiful Tuscany.

To enjoy the best of this region car hire really is needed to be able to visit the pretty rural villages in the Tuscany/ Chianti region. The bus network to the hotel is challenging !

We had not hired a car from Florence and did not relish driving in the city but found a local car dealership in Mercatale ( less than 1 mile from the hotel) who fixed us up with a Fiat 500L and enabled us to see so much more of the beautiful area.

Lazzerini Auto’s at Via Carlo Levi, 7 Frazier, Metcatale Val Di Pesa, 50020 SAN Casciano we can highly recommend. They made it easy for us and enhanced our holiday greatly.

Salvadonica is one of the best hotels I've been. The hotel is located on an isolated hill with views all across vines and olive fields. The staff are very nice and helpful.Pool area is so relaxing and you can spend there for hours. The restaurant is also great.
The only thing we found bothering is the isolation between the rooms which is not so good.

I'm sure this is a beautiful location, but unfortunately, it was dark by the time we arrived. There were welcoming lights with tables for eating inside or outside. The staff were attentive & knowledgeable. 4 courses arrived with time in between for conversation. There is also a shop in reception selling olive oil beauty and other products. Comfortable seating areas in reception.
