We originally tried to get in to Locanda il Cavallino, but they were closed and suggested we tried here.
We reserved for 7pm, were charmingly greeted, and ordered Parma ham and melon to start, with duck and salad, and river fish with vegetables, and a very good mixed platter of cheese to finish with.
I litre of good local red wine, a water and complementary limoncellos rounded off an excellent evening.
Charming, warm service, good food and a nice atmosphere.
People arrived all through the evening, some had to be turned away.
You will need to understand a little Italian as there is no translated menu, to get the best out of this restaurant.
Unbeatable value. Recommended!
