Stayed here for a week in August and had a great time.
The hotel is set in a splendid location, overlooking Rome, from a vantage point in the hills to the south East of the eternal city.
The main hotel is very grand and is connected to two additional villas by a underground passageway. We stayed in one of the villas and found it to be comfortable. The rooms are nicely decorated but are not lavishly decked out. There are no drink making facilities which was a little surprising in a 4* hotel and not much wardrobe space. However, all in all, a comfortable room which we enjoyed for a week.
The swimming pool is set in some wonderful gardens and was warm and welcoming. The sun-loungers are wooden, which adds an additional hint of class, as there is not a sign of plastic in sight. Some of them do require some tlc though , as there are a few missing brackets and wheels. Two wooden framed gazebos give some shade or there is always the option to seek a little shade under the olive trees!
The staff were very helpful and the shuttle bus to Frascati is a welcome offering. Frascati itself is wonderful and has an array of ships and eating places. The train from Frascati to Rome is great, 2 euro each way and runs regularly.
Definitely worth a visit to the hotel, I imagine we will...Stayed here for a week in August and had a great time.

Definitely worth a visit to the hotel, I imagine we will be returning and definitely try the local Frascati wine. It is amazing! More
