The Grand Hotel Due Golfi certainly lives up to its name.
What's to love?...
It absolutely lives up to the photos on the website, it's stunning
It's spotlessly clean throughout
The food is amazing
The views are spectacular
The shuttle bus service into Sorrento and the Sita bus stop at the end of the drive make getting out and about to explore really easy. If you're planning on going to Amalfi or Positano by Sita, we'd recommend you take the shuttle into Sorrento and get on the bus which leaves from the train station, otherwise you may have to stand or not be able to get on at all.
There's great walks from the hotel (get a map from reception and look for the marker tiles - painted marks on posts, walls and pavements indicate which route you're on)
And finally.. it's got the most fantastic team of warm, friendly, helpful staff who really do go the extra mile to make your visit special
What's not to love?... nope, can't think of anything apart from to say you're likely to come away a few kilos heavier than when you go there!
We went the 3rd week of May, so early in the season. The hotel was still fairly busy, yet there were days when it was just us at the pool.
Would we recommend it? Most definitely More
