Does the Job

Not quite sure why it’s listed as “Lima” on here when I stayed it was “Kerala” but staff are lovely and it’s beautifully placed on the beach with a lovely pool and restaurant. The rooms are basic and small but good value for money. It does seem to be in an area that sadly keeps the smell of fuel from the beach fire dances which isn’t nice to eat to.

Lovely stay. Rooms are very clean, zero worries on that front. Fridge worked great. Tv shows just thai tv and one channel with western movies in English. but as I say not luxury. Our shower had quite weak water pressure. That's the only thing I could complain about ... so, that's good! Restaurant Varies from very good (pad Thai, hamburgers, and a few other dishes) to just okay. They make a very good mai tai. The main point is that this places you smack dab on what is now my favorite beach in thailand -- ao prao beach. Mellow and lovely. We found the snorkeling on this beach to be a blast. Maybe 6-8 kinds of cool tropical fish, funky anemones. And when you want a variety from the Lima coco restaurant, hop to the neighboring hotel restaurants-- quite decent bbq, pizza, etc! I will come to Lima coco again. Attached is the photo I just took from the poolside chair I am sitting in at this very moment.

This resort is a little older than the others in this private beach area, but the location is absolutely perfect!! The small pool that overlooks the ocean is great. The people who work here are also super accommodating.

The only problem, which is a big one if your going to stay in your room a lot was the smell in the bathroom. Our bathroom in the suite next to the pool smelled like raw sewage. A little disappointing, it was unbearable to even think of bathing in the stench, but I personally was rarely in our room.

Another added plus about this place is that you can snorkel right on the same beach you are staying. There is a lot of sealife, not a ton, but enough to keep you swimming and snorkeling.

Overall, this resort is great due to location and it is much less in cost than the neighboring resorts. We loved our stay here.

    -Staff not really attentive
-Not amazing choices on the menu
    -Morning Glory missing chilli
-Staff forgetful/lazy when you ask for something
    -Beach area is lovely

All in all, I wouldn’t come back to the restaurant, however, the beach area is amazing! The finest bit of beach I’ve seen since being on the island.

We choose this resort ‘cause we want to stay in Ao Prao that is a more quiet than other part of the ko samed island. High review make the deal. Once there a huge delusion. The exterior is not well maintained and shabby. The floor of the restaurant is cracked. The atmosphere is like a place not cared of. Not talking about details but the general place. We aspected a simple place. But simple doesn’t mean scruffy. The website states to have rooms in the beach ... from most of them you view of the building in front. Room are simple and spacious with no wardrobe that is in the bathroom. 🤔 bathroom less than a bad guesthouse one. During this holiday we stayed in few guest houses and most has very nice and cosy bathroom. The only thing I can save is breakfast. Lots of choice even if you can’t choose the hot drink you prefer. Everything is self service except pancakes, eggs table. Restaurant: we dine one night at Lima. In my opinion less than average but much better than the close by Buzz. Costs: a small bottle of water 25 bath when in the resort next to it a big bottle was 25 bath... 😡 The two resort close by are more well maintained but can’t say anything about except the atmosphere seems much more cared of. I would no suggest this place to stay even if is cheaper than others. The beach is nice but nothing special.

This is a resort at a fantastic beach with crystal clear water. Sitting in the afternoon drinking cocktails seeing the sun go down is magical. The atmosphere is chill with soft music playing. The staff is so friendly and nice. Perhaps a bit hard beds and high wine prices but all compensated by such a nice place. Can recommend it!
