The location was perfect - just in the middle between the pier in the north and the beach in the south (both in walking distance), but still very quiet. We really liked the nice garden in the middle of the surrounding bungalows, this actually looked even better in real life than on the photos. The fresh made coffee in the shop was great. Price was OK for a family 3 bed a/c room and we would definitely go there again.Breakfast places available nearby and nice restaurants in "town" and also at the beach.
Rooms were OK and and clean but could benefit from a little makeover so they can compete with the cute garden. But nothing really to complain about. Convenient with a clothes drying rack outside for the beach wear and well built to withstand both thunderstorm and heavy rain - which we experienced one of our 3 nights.
Recommend to rent a motorbike/scooter to explore the rest of the island, nice places to discover!

Quiet and peaceful for our two weeks in one of the back rooms. For anyone wanting to be close to the main beach yet peaceful, this little resort is good but it fronts the main busy road to the beach which can be noisy and unpleasant to negotiate. The rooms are good value for the price range, air conditioner worked well, wifi only intermittent, shower poor. Very clean, linen changed daily. The staff speak very little English but were friendly and very helpful whenever we had a query. We checked out most of the beaches and accommodation on Koh Samed as future destinations and Barbados Terrace handled the mosquito problem BEST of all. My husband sat in the garden reading a lot of the time.. never bitten. Because we stayed for two weeks we saw other guests come and go... mostly Thai of a weekend ... Europeans during the week. There's a big book case of left novels which we enjoyed. We were sorry to leave...
