Review of Mount Langi Ghiran

Mount Langi Ghiran
Reviewed 12 June 2017

From the time we arrived in the car park. Got out of the car, the first thing I noticed apart from the great view of the mountains was the peace and tranquillity. Then several bird species would break out in their symphony of chirps. But even more important this winery knows how to make great wines. From whites to rose to sparkling to reds. No matter what you prefer this winery will not let you down.

Next time you see the sign on the western hwy you should turn off and check out this great winery. Try the award winning Shiraz . You can also check out the great picnic spots in the national park

What a lovely free camping spot- amongst trees and with kangaroos hopping by! Some lovely walk trails to explore and some pretty wildflowers out in October. Very peaceful- would happily stay for longer if we pass this way again.

Beautifully constructed winery set at the foot of Mount Langi Ghiran. Wonderful views down the valley and through the sprawling vineyards. Riesling an absolute stunner!

If you're heading towards Ararat or Adelaide from Ballarat, it's a great way to break the drive and the wines something else. Very nice. Try some from your local then decide, but somehow, cellar door tastings are always nicer.
