10 of us spent one night here and we wish we had stayed for longer. Panzano is a charming village and the hotel is authentic, rustic and beautiful.
The positives: the rooms were spacious and comfortable some of which had great views over the Tuscan countryside, the pool and breakfast areas were so peaceful and relaxing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't give it five stars (although we wanted to leave 4.5!) because we didn't have air con in our room and it was a bit hot and stuffy, the fan was broken so although we could leave it on it was stuck into position, the rooms and bathroom although authentic could do with a bit of luxury added, a bit of a modernisation, breakfast was good but a bit basic, we had a bit of a nightmare getting to the hotel through no fault of our own and someone from the hotel called us to say there was a problem because reception was closing. Although they stayed late to hand us the keys over, it was a bit stressful screeching into Panzano; having to pick the keys up then running over to the restaurant we'd booked before it closed. If they could tweak these small things then it's definitely a 5! That said we want to come back next year for longer because it was lovely.More
