We had a very relaxing time here, chilling out on the hammocks and walking on the beach.
The bungalows are incredibly basic, a bed, an open shower, and a terrace which is rarely used for anything new other than drying towels and swimwear.
The food isn't fantastic however given the location there aren't many other options as the high tide cuts the beach off from other hotels.
Great place to switch off however you can't easily swim here given the incredibly long shallow tide.

I loved this place - just paradise! Had a cottage just on the beach for a week. It was hot and sticky in the room and the showers werent the best but I didnt mind. Its such a beautiful and tranquil place. And the food was amazing, I never had a bad meal here. Will go back one day.

I can absolutely recommend this place, it's peaceful, the location is amazing. The food is amazing, chef Ali has cooked me some of the best seafood meals I've ever had! The staff are great and can book you any trip you want to go on. The rooms have everything you will ever need. It's not luxury but you can't need too much more!

I LOVED everything about the hotel. The hotel is amazing- big rooms with patios, hammocks all over the property, a lovely pool and lounge chairs and umbrellas. The hotel has a real local feel to it, which I prefer over huge resorts. It is on a quiet spot on the beach- not in town so its not a high traffic area. I would go swim in the sea and be the only person out there. Someone in a review I read complained about the tide- yes the tide goes in and out (that's how they work) so yes, at times the water is a little ways out but you can still go swimming, you just have to walk out to it. Bring pair of water shoes. You can walk to Paje easily if you wanted to go to a little store or restaurants/bars. Breakfast is included with your room and was great of fruit to start with then bread and a pancake like a crepe with jam, peanut butter or regular butter and eggs. The menu for lunch and dinner is never the same- the chef changes the menu twice daily on the blackboard and we never had a bad meal. Everything was amazing and fresh. You can order lunch and dinner early to cut your wait time because there is only one chef and he makes everything as its ordered so you might have to wait for food but it will be worth it. We arranged airport pickup and drop off from the hotel for $35 USD. We also used their driver to go to Stone Town for a few hours. I would 100% recommend staying here and I would definitely come back if the opportunity comes up.
