A very pleasant evening meal in The Quills (Burger Knights).
Rochester High Street is a pretty quaint place and the Quills is no exception to this, wood beamed and an old world style feel to it.
The menu wasn't the biggest, but we went there for the burgers and that is just what we had.
Our youngest went for the Krispy Kreme burger, which replaced the normal burger bun with two glazed doughnuts - much to his delight.
We both had the triple chilli burger which was massive and messy to eat...but tasted nice.
All burgers were freshly prepared and home made. Food and sides were all nice.
The skin on chips were everyones favourite and alone would be worth a visit!
The staff were friendly and did everything at a bit of a leisurely pace - but we were in no real hurry.
For a Saturday night at 7pm the restaurant was pretty empty which was a surprise.
The toilets were clean enough, but could probably do with a lick of paint.
Overall a nice evening meal - probably more of a 3.75 than a 4.
The do breakfasts too and we all remarked that it would be worth a try, so we will return at some point.
Should say that it is very reasonably priced too!
