Wait staff totally disinterested to the point of rudeness. Lousy service and radio blaring drowning out all conversation.

Visited with some friends for food and drinks Saturday afternoon. Incredibly impressed. Couldn't believe just quite how reasonably priced food and drink was. We sat outside in the beer garden making the most of the sun and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The ploughman salad was gorgeous and plentiful. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and welcoming.
Will definitely return!
very nice sunday roast fairly good value for money too we went as a large party and they shifted tables to suit us
We had dinner here and it was excellent with meat pies and fine ales. I highly recommend this pub if you enjoy authenticity and find food and drink while in Rochester.
On entering The Jolly Knight we walked through to the back bar ,Ye Yarrow it has recently had a refurb .
Dinning area was quite cozy and the Roast Dinner was something else .
IT WAS LOVELY meat soft and tender ,crispy roasts, fresh crisp veg ...wow choices of veg at least 6.
Topped of with a delicious gravy.
How many Sunday are there in a year will definitely be back.
