Happened to pass this little gem on our way to Rochester castle today. We and our Jack Russell cross were welcomed with open arms. A comfortable seating in the back bar with a fan to keep us cool and a welcome bowl of water for our dog. Well cooked roast beef washed down with a real ale and a nice white wine. Would recommend and definitely return.

A group of us meet here usually once a month for a meal and a chat. Lovely food, I especially like the mucky chips! Dogs are welcome and the Sunday lunches are great. Although I'm not vegetarian I can recommend the nut roast along with all the other roasts. They have a good range of real ales too. Very friendly pub.

Nice pub but othing to get excited about. There is a selection of beers but they are the standard beers offered in most pubs, London Pride, charrington, etc. No food served evenings sun through Thursday and only a small tapas plate selection on Thurs. Friday. Staff friendly. Sunday lunches served.

I find this pub a bit 'clicky' sometimes and it can get very busy and hot inside. However the garden is lovely if you can get a seat and the owners/staff are very nice. Pub is dog friendly but children are only allowed in the garden. I've not eaten there but food looks lovely.
