This hotel is in a great location.....10 minutes' walk from the railway station and one of the few hotels with an unobstructed view of the river flowing into Lake Garda itself.
We arrived quite early in the morning and knew that our room would not be ready, but were met with a welcoming drink and a very friendly receptionist, who explained how to get around Peschiera del Garda.
Our room was very clean and spacious on the second floor at the front of the building with a balcony that afforded a beautiful view of the river. We stayed for three nights on a half-board basis and this proved to be a very wise choice. The meals were varied and generous in size, all good quality. Also, we found that the drinks in general were reasonably priced at the hotel bar.
We would recommend that youhire an audioguide from the tourist information centre to use on the boat tour of the fortress/city walls and a general walking tour of Peschiera del Garda.....very informative and reasonably priced.

Room tip: It is worth paying more for a room at the front of the property on a higher floor due to the lovely views available from the balcony.

Hotel was as good as I had hoped, and location about 800 metres walk from dead centre of town not a problem. It means nice views of canals from balcony rooms and quiet at night.
The biggest surprise was the restaurant dinners. We almost never eat at hotel restaurants as they are typically mediocre, serving the captive guests. First night we arrived exhausted and ate there and were surprised at how good the food was.
Night two - oh blow it I want to try the salmon, the menu was better than any in the area anyway. Night three we had Italian friends drive up from Reggio, and after drinks downtown and them being discerning diners, and after checking out many town centre restos, then looking at our own hotel menu online and its reputation - we walked back out to it and had dinner number three. They agreed the food was good, and they are not easily pleased.
Having friendly bar and wait staff has also been a bonus.

Last minute booking with Hotels.com. The place was in a great location on Lake Garda canal. Easy to find and in central location for walking to restaurants and the lake.
Evening reception lady (Mariella?) was superb host. Kind, helpful, personable with all guests. All staff very nice!
She helped us change our booking from one night to 2 and gave us a lovely, affordable option.
Roof top terrace fabulous too with a hot tub, lounge chairs and view of the lake.
Breakfast offering is fabulous - hot and cold, many items baked on site.
Restaurant highly rated for good dining and it was lovely.
Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Room tip: If you want a view of the lake mention that in your booking.

Researched well and it paid off! Lovely family run hotel and it shows. Warm welcome on arrival and a refreshing cocktail. Given lots of information re hotel, room, meals and tourist information. The book which they had compiled had very useful information on all things Lake Garda and we used it often to decide what to do. Boats are available to rent close-by and there are lovely area to walk around the Hotel. Short walk into town (about five mins) to the hustle and bustle of Peschiera del Garda where you can take the ferries to the other towns around the Lake. Hotel sits on the water so it as lovely to watch all the boats and people go by from the little garden in the evening before dinner. Dinner at the hotel was very good as was breakfast. Service in all areas was exceptional with nothing ever a problem and staff always willing to help and inform. The rooms were spacious and sparkling clean with excellent amenities. Ours, although not at front of hotel had a wonderful view from our balcony of the water to the front and also the lake. Very laid back and relaxing atmosphere, great location, great views, excellent staff and fab food! absolutely perfect for us and we definitely hope to return next year!

We have stayed 6 days and the hotel is lovely, great staff and a super location. We definitely had one of the best rooms with a large terrace. We would definitely return. Breakfast was ok, restaurant meals were superb. We ate twice in the hotel and both times were very happy. Would certainly recommend the hotel and restaurant.
