Coconut Row is a great place to stay. The rooms are big, very nice, with terrace and sea view. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach is great and very nice.

We would definitely come back!!

We stayed at Coconut Row for the last three nights of our Belize trip. This is a minimum frills place right on the beach, perfect for couples who don't require pampering and other resort services.

Our room had two queen-size beds, mini fridge, coffee maker (ground coffee provided), small safe, a couple of chairs and enough storage for several days worth of clothes and personal items.

The remote-controlled wall-mounted air conditioner worked very well keeping us comfortable at night. There were also ceiling fans over each bed and plenty of lighting throughout the room. Our only complaint about the room is that the curtains could be darker to block outside light at night. It's not really a problem for me as much as my light-sleeping wife.

The bathroom - built mostly of stone and tile - had a nice shower that always had hot water, a big bowl sink and plenty of counter space.

Coconut Row is located right by the main road in from Southern Highway. It is within walking distance of a well-stocked general store and several restaurants/kitchens/bars.

Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but generally would re-connect within a few minutes. There was no TV, which was not a problem for us. If you went to Belize to watch TV, then you don't know how to take a vacation.

All of the staff and the two property dogs were very friendly! The value is excellent for those who make their own adventures and just need a base camp near the beach and restaurants. We always felt safe on the property and everywhere else in Hopkins. If we're back to Belize anytime soon, we will definitely consider Hopkins and Coconut Row again.

Staying in Hopkins was great. Coconut Row is the perfect place to be. Steps to the beach and to restaurants and bars. Rooms were nice, comfortable and very clean. The staff at Coconut Row made us feel at home. Great info on things to do and places to eat. We will go back!

Room Tip: The Cocoribe room has a great patio and steps from the beach.

We stayed in the Sunrise Suite for our visit. A great little building, with a deck on the roof! Although, the roof wasn't utilized with beach access right from the door. The bedrooms have air conditioning, with daytime use available from $10 USD per day (no charge for use at night). Wifi was a bit spotty, but that shouldn't be a primary concern in a place as beautiful as this.

All in all, we had a good stay, and the proximity to food makes the stay all the better. Shuttle services are available through the Guest House - keep that in mind if you only have a credit card, or just wish to simplify logistics.

My boyfriend & I planned a 7 day trip to Hopkins. We initially booked a room with a different guest house, but luckily decided to book most of our days with Coconut Row. We stayed in the Coconut cabin right on the beach. It was the perfect spot. The beach is groomed multiple times a day & kept immaculate. Our cabin was nice, clean, & had beach towels, a coffee maker w/ coffee, mini fridge, & a much needed air conditioner for sleeping at night. Owner (Damien) & all of the staff are so genuinely friendly, welcoming, kind, & helpful. Tyeshia & Emerson were especially helpful & such a pleasure to visit with. Our only regret is that we didn't book our entire stay at Coconut Row. We made the mistake of going to a different guest house for the last part of our trip, but ended up returning to Coconut Row to stay for our last night. Hopkins, as a whole, has so much to offer. We went on a snorkeling trip (booked thru Coconut Row) to South Water Caye, & had a blast. They also offer options to explore inland/jungle adventures.
