Come on Rhyl council get your act together, this place is an absolute dump, thought things might have improved in 5 years but it’s just worse. Get your hand in your pocket and start being a welcoming place for visitors not a deterrent.

So much cleaner and tidier than it used to be - still seems to be somewhat of a ghost town right now but I'm hoping the obvious regeneration brings Rhyl back to life.
Used to love Rhyl as a kid and it seems they're slowly getting there again.

Nicer to sit on quieter parts, can be a rough area, nicer in the warm weather with a picnic. Went in the cold though

Visited here with the kids whilst in North Wales. What a beautiful beach!! The sand is gorgeous, clean with plenty of pebbles and shells. Could keep kids entertained for ages. We could have stayed all day even in the rain but it started raining heavy. Loved the beach shops and the souvenir shop. Lovely places to buy freshly made doughnuts, coffee. The souvenir shop was the only place I found some Welsh magnets, seaside rock and fudge. There were arcades and amusements along the promenade as well. We've been to Colwyn Bay Beach but thought Rhyl was better.
