Great hotel with a beautiful view of diamond head. Walking through the hotel feels like you are walking through a museum. Went for my daughters birthday and she loved our staycation. Definitely would recommend. Excellent customer service!

Good Location. Very helpful staff. Clean and tidy hotel. Pool good and hotel close to beach. Honolulu and Waikiki beach are fabulous vibrant places. This Island is expensive to visit with a 20% tax when you leave your accommodation also constant request to tip at 15/18/20 % when paying using a terminal. Nothing is value for money. The people are so amazing really genuine

The Queen delivers a wonderful, quality vacation every time I stay. The staff are fantastic, they have great opportunities and classes and the location is perfect. The Zoo is across the street and the Aquarium is a 5 minute stroll. The Beach is a mere 3 minute walk and there is a Starbucks and 2 ABC stores within a block, not to mention lots of restaurants. The pool area is beautiful with music and an outdoor cafe that has incredible happy hour and fantastic food and drinks. Even live music. The vibe is so wonderful you won’t want to leave. I love the Queen. Uncrowded end of Waikiki but still close to the action. Come enjoy every minute of your vacation. You deserve it!

It’s been about 4 times that I’ve stayed at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel, and each time improves on the time before. Truly never a disappointment. Working in hospitality/gaming for nearly 15 years, the staff took advantage of every MoT (moment of truth)—from valet, to the front desk, to housekeeping and guest services. Two extra special “thank you” shout outs. One to valet who made me feel like an individual be memorizing which car was mine by night two and for always being so pleasant and upbeat. And the second one is to Elisa at the front desk—she made checkout such a wonderful experience through her customer service demeanor and friendly disposition. I’ll be back! Mahalo!

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the QK.
We booked an “unobstructed Diamond Head view King with Balcony” and the view did not disappoint! Wrap around windows and a nice small balcony. Lots of window shades to afford privacy or keep the sun out if preferred. Nicely appointed room with an unbeatable view.
The room and the property were spotless. Housekeeping is available daily at guest request.
Check in was efficient and I must say everyone at the bell desk is kind and courteous. I special shout out to Calvin, who made us feel so welcome.
We enjoyed early morning fresh Kona coffee, delicious croissants and pastries at Knots coffee bar early every morning.
The Bell desk still had Beach chairs and towels at mid morning to use for the day. The pool got busy early and there were no spots by 10am.
Queens Surf beach is just a block and a half away. The zoo and the park are across the street. The aquarium a few blocks down the beach. For us, the location was perfect.
The renovation of the hotel is very nice. The retro vibe isn’t overdone, but it’s there to enjoy. We liked the tribute to Hawaiian Royalty on the mezzanine level.
The gentleman at the art gallery was great. Really informative about the artists and the history behind a lot of the pieces. We bought a nice print to bring home.
Overall, everyone we met on the staff was kind and courteous. The view great. And the property spotless. I subtract a few point because the bed was a little lumpy. But that view! A++
