enjoyed our stay. close to everything around downtown Honolulu and all the famous food restaurants. Easy internet access and valet parking service was excellent. Breakfast provided was good quality. highly recommend!
100% satisfied no problem very good
I will recommend to my friends excellent in services cleanliness is great I will come back to this hotel if I come back to Hawaii this hotel was at the center of full of activities near restaurants & all different kind of stores
Nice, smaller property with overall positive vibes. This is not a 6 star ocean front property mind you, so if you're looking for all the amenities that suggests this may not be the place for you. The rooms are a little dated, but, it was more than pleasant enough for a week long stay with my wife for a little R&R. Our room had a little kitchenette, fridge, huge private patio, lots of room and light. We drove around everywhere to restaurants and beaches not in waikiki so for our purposes it was perfect. Staff is fantastic.
If you prefer to have the experience for dinner or shopping or other activities in Hawaii, Aqua Oasis is the best choice. This hotel has the reasonable price and place in center of Waikiki. If you want to focus the Hawaii about food and tour rather than accommodation, you should choice this hotel.
Nearly Perfect... it is quite possible this will be the perfect hotel for you! The reason I say it's "nearly perfect" is that it's missing a few amenities that I would have appreciated. Some I knew going in, some I discovered later... but don't let my preferences stop you from booking a room.
Location: Very good, right in the heart of Waikiki - restaurants & shopping abound! The ocean is a solid 10 minute walk. The hotel will provide folding chairs & towels, but with those in tow and a beach bag, it's a bit of a chore. If high end shopping and eating is your thing, this location is perfect!
Rooms: The room we had was a Junior Suite. It was very roomy (large) for two people, it could easily handle a rollaway bed with ease. The room had a retro-tropical vibe and the balcony was huge! We were on the rear side of the hotel facing west, it was facing a street that was more like a back alley, but there were no issues, and being around back it was fairly quiet, next to no street noise. The rooms themselves were, as I said a bit dated, but super clean and the bed was very comfortable! It's my understanding each room has a bidet in the bathroom, not my thing, The tub we had was a soaker tub that that folks with mobility issues may have trouble climbing into and the shower was adequate. The room overall provided a restful place to lay our heads.
Pool Area: I knew going in the pool and area were not spectacular - and I would say if your looking for a resort style pool area, or if that is priority for you look elsewhere. That being said the pool at the Aqua Oasis is fine for taking a cool dip after a long day of schlepping through town or after an excursion. There are lounge chairs available.
Continental Breakfast: The breakfast served between 7-9 is as simple as you can get... coffee, juice, fruit, cereal, bread, bagels, & muffins, unfortunately that pattern doesn't change much... but it's a decent start to the day, and the coffee is fabulous! The eating area is very nice (outdoors), however finding a spot to sit can be a little challenging at times.
Staff: The staff at the Aqua Oasis are wonderful! Everyone we met was friendly and aimed to please!
The Hotel: This place appears to be very popular and for good reason. A suggestion they may want to consider is making the koi pond area non-smoking. I know the smokers have go somewhere, but the serenity of the koi pond area loses a bit of lustre when you're sitting next to an ashtray, but that is a tiny issue.
Overall, great place... we would definitely return!
