We stayed here for 6 days on the 8th floor and were wanting a more affordable option so we could do more activities. Rooms are older, not fancy, but again it's on the cheaper side. It was fine. We were so happy it was away from Waikiki Beach. Easy to walk to, but glad we could get out of that busy area. We paid a little extra for a mountain view and enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the landscape. Reception staff were a bit cold, indifferent, but not rude, except the valet. He was very nice. There is no self-parking, so valet is an extra charge, but I felt it was worth it.

Room tip: Enjoyed Mountain View room on the 8th floor

Aloha Blu M!

Thank you for being our guest during your recent visit to Waikiki! I'm so happy you were able to stay for a good amount of time and enjoy the island. As a small, boutique hotel, our rooms are designed to allow our guests to enjoy some of the conveniences of home with a kitchenette, microwave, mini-fridge and dinnerware. Our location allows easy access to Waikiki, yet far enough removed to enjoy some quiet relaxation, especially from the lanais with sweeping mountain views. I apologize that the front desk staff was not as engaging. The really enjoy sharing their aloha with our guests and we clearing missed that with you. Mahalo for recognizing the valet team!

I hope that your time in Hawaii was full of wonderful memories. When Hawaii calls again, we hope we have a chance to welcome you back to Coconut Waikiki Hotel!

We had a great time visiting friends and family. A good part of our wonderful visit was a great hotel room to return to. Well priced rooms for a Waikiki location. This hotel had a very friendly, couteous, and helpful staff. Clean! Nicely maintained hotel.

This was my first hotel experience with pets, so I was very nervous. I communicated with the hotel many times! I appreciated everyone's quick and friendly responses. The front desk was very helpful. The pet fee is very reasonable.

We liked the convenience of the location without the 24/7 bustle of the main streets. Our room faced the Ala Wai (mountain view) and was quiet enough. For a quieter night I stuffed a towel under the door to block hallway sounds.

Our pet friendly room was clean, but both of the sink drains were slow. Trash bins in the room are also very tiny. We liked the water filter and coffee and tea stations in the lobby. We hung out a bit in the couches and didn't feel weird about it. The tiny pool was colder than expected for being temperature controlled.

Overall, we would stay here again because it was a convenient location.

Aloha Jaqueline!

Mahalo for being part of our ohana during your recent visit to Waikiki. We love having our local guests and their furry family stay with us. I'm happy that our location gave you easy access to Waikiki and you enjoyed the coffee, tea and filtered water stations. Our open air lobby and outdoor spaces are a great to just lounge and relax. I'm sorry you were impacted by the slow drains in your sinks. We have also made note of your comment regarding the size of the trash receptacles. Thank you so much for recognizing the staff.

We are so pleased that your stay was enjoyable and we look forward to welcoming you back again to your home in Waikiki!

The cheapest hotel I can find in the Waikiki area. The receptionist is very friendly. The room is clean. Many bus around. My biggest problem with this hotel is that it has ZERO NOISE ISOLATION. You can people talking outside of the room load and clear! You can hear motorcycles rushing through streets midnight. It is very bad when you want to have a quite holiday break.

Aloha Larry!

Mahalo for being part of our ohana during your recent visit to Waikiki. I am happy to hear you found our location convenient and easy to get around the area and island. Thank you for taking time to recognize the staff as well. They are wonderful ambassadors of the aloha spirit. Please accept my apologies for the issues you had with noise. I understand that the traffic from the street below and adjoining guests caused interruption to your rest and relaxation.

I hope that when Hawaii calls again, you will consider Coconut Waikiki Hotel as your home away from home. We will find your a quiet and relaxing room to enjoy!

We have stayed at Coconut Waikiki 3 times & have never been disappointed. The views of the Ala Wai canal are a beautiful way to wake up each morning. Just a short walk to the beach & located far enough away from the very busy streets of the International Marketplace, it's our favorite place to stay in Waikiki. The desk is always attended, housekeeping & valet parking attendants are right on the spot. We highly recommend Coconut Waikiki to be your favorite place to stay too.
