Let me begin by saying the staff the hotel has are, for the most part, all very good and professional. WTS, this hotel operates on limited hours. There is only one restaurant, a 24/7 diner type facility that is now only open from 6a to 10:30p (very good, albeit expensive food)...that is it! No fine dining anywhere...bars also close early. The hotel and rooms are in desperate need of remodeling, stuck in a time warp not of the current century. Mattresses are broken down for lack of ever being rotated or replaced, and rooms are a rather thread-bare. In fairness, although 2 blocks from the beach, have decent views from the higher floors.

Think twice before dropping $2500 for a week at this place... They owe their customers for more for this kind of money!!!

Room tip: Avoid reserving & checking in...

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to let us know how your stay was. While our restaurant closes at 10pm we do invite our guests to our lounge area that is open until midnight and serves the full menu. We hope that you will give us another chance to show you our Aloha spirit.

Hilton advertise that families can have adjoining rooms. What a lie. We showed up at the Hilton Waikiki Beach. We did not have rooms together as promised. The room my daughter was put in (down the hall) had a urine and public hair covered toilet seat. The beds had "we've cleaned the room" cards, but upon pulling back the sheets my child found more hair. She also said the floors were sticky. She was given another room two floors below us. So much for clean rooms and keeping families together. It was so disgusting I would NEVER recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly but unhelpful. We had planned on staying 4 nights but left after the first night. Also the refund policy sucks. Yes, we were FINALLY given a refund for the nights we did not stay, but we had a horrible night there. I guess if you want your kids to see some strange man's pee on a toilet seat and have rooms down the hall this is the place for you.

Room tip: Advertised as a luxury resort but it was more like a middle of a road type of hotel.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to let us know how your stay was. We pride ourselves in our housekeeping and service, but it appears we missed the mark during your stay. Not worth the price you’re paying for plus they hit you with a Resort fee ($35 USD per day) even if you don’t use any of facilities. We were there for 2 nights on our way to LA. Went for walks and to the beach first day and all day tour the next day, didn’t use any of their facilities which are printed on a tiny card and handed to you by a cold receptionist who just didn’t want to be there when checked in. Upon check out we questioned the charge only to be patronised by a young receptionist who clearly didn’t care about anything we had to say. Never staying here again.

Room tip: Avoid this if you’re only there in transit. Not worth the price

Where to start
It felt like I was on a 30 year old cruise ship. 2900 rooms ,people everywhere.and crazy expensive.
The staff were only worried about their tips.
If you don’t mind 1000,s of people roaming around fighting for the only chair by the pool then this place is for you.

Thank you for taking the time out to review your vacation stay. We would kindly ask if you could double check to see if you stayed with our property or if you stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village as the Hilton Waikiki Beach doesn't have nearly that many rooms!

The interior of the rooms are a little outdated but overall the hotel was nice. Our first room was dirty with food crumbs on the floor but the hotel
Staff was good about changing our room. The location of the hotel is great a short walk from the beach, shopping, and restaurants.
